The nice thing about the forums is that it's kind of what you make of it - if you're not having a good time with certain people, you're not obligated to talk to those people  I was just trying to show that things can be bad sometimes but making it work is possible! And there are some people on the forum, like myself, who would be happy to talk to you

I wish I could believe you... but I did once here... just to be left alone soon as they grew in popularity.... I... just have a hard time trusting or trying to show care for others when... they just do not give any of that back... or try to, but... then leave you without warning...

That's kind of the risk you take in any relationship on or offline; you can't control others and they can't control you. In turn, it's a really hard thing to accept and understand but no one owes you anything, not even a reason for leaving. It's hard, it hurts a lot, especially when there is no explanation for the sudden loss and it's really easy to turn inward and push people away because of this. There is, however, the option to keep on going  and to really, really think about not just what other people have done but what you have done as well, good and bad. Knowing what you want and need in a friendship is important, and it's even more important to communicate those needs in order to find those who are similar. As well, it would be a good idea to not have any expectations of anyone at all. You can give a lot in a relationship and never get anything in return; this is a fact of life for everyone. If you really feel like you can't trust anyone right now to try and start a new friendship, then it might be a good idea to take a break. Focus on yourself for a while, do what you need to do, and revisit the problem when you're in a better state of mind  

Ultimately, the decision is yours, of course. If you really feel like this is for the best, then by all means who am I to tell you what is or isn't good for you. Only you know that  So if you leave, I wish you the best of luck  and I'm sorry it wasn't any better for you
