The topic I posted before was an experiment which I'm happy to say, people are not like those on devianart and derpibooru(that site awful) but one of them who was very passionate, and rightfully so, got me thinking of something. While the dragon young, happily embrace Ember's progressive and pony ideas(there still a tad speciest against ponies, but it's a process) what if the elders(apart from Torch) are not? What if to them they see it like
(A former dragon training ground, now filled with balloons, candy and ponies, changelings, hippogriffs all playing together and fooling around, the dragons are laughing while being covered with clown paint and just plain having a good time)
Dragon Elder: The training ground! The most sacred of sites for training big strong dragons...reduced to mockery!
I feel the elders would be more traditionalist and reluctantly following Ember(thanks to thousands of years of Darwanisim)
Basically this is old culture vs new culture. And why Dragon culture needs to change, I mean there's nothing wrong with competing, in fact that does make dragons what they are. But that they need to show great sportsmanship and humility, in other words a whole race of Rainbow Dashs.
