  1. … Seems too sketchy to me. I dunno if I could.
  2. We can make tons of memories together in this locked room! Wait, what do you mean it's a push and not pull?
  3. Most likely to be complimented on his signature! Seriously, looks awesome
  4. Most likely to premiere as the Smooshes in MLP:FIM
  5. Banned for wishing shame on someone!
  6. Dang, this episode was awesome! a few funny lines that got me laughing. "For a former friendless, immortal despot, you're pretty cynical." being one of them. Also love the call backs to other episodes like the Guy's night one. And another episode about Romance which is rare. ugh... bugging me I can't remember the other quote that really got me laughing... only remember that one because it was in the pole
  7. Sleeping Beauty's Wicked step mother actress.... in pony form!
  8. I'll be honest, It's still taking some getting used to with them being teachers. Seriously, it's like they're the mane characters... yet in supporting roles... if that even makes sense And I agree with a comment I read already. They already dealt with their competitive nature and it feels so strange they randomly just got it back without too much build for it. I guess that's almost one of the things you can almost see, sometimes they got to add additional circumstances so they can reUse an old 'issue' that they learned already... which again, no one's perfect, and we tend to make the same mistakes, but still felt like we should of seen a bit more of this instead of a "open with them randomly going back Super competitive"... almost feel like the reward wasn't even something that they should of coveted that much. I mean seriously... there's not been enough build of them as teachers for it tbh. Like we had what, the first two episodes... and now this one. Right? I mean yeah they mentioned their obligations to the school, but this is like the 3rd episode that actual feature them in the role. Anyways, I do like the attitude of both Twilight and the students. Not just getting confused for a bit but then getting down right irritated by it. Seriously, I've seen similar SLs in other series where said person they're teaching will just remain confused or just not pay attention or something. So I liked that... So i'll give it more a 'meh'. EDIT: Also wanted to point out. The "Students think they pretended they were fighting to help teach them" thing, I actually wish WAS the truth. It would of helped the episode out a bit and explained the 'back to before' issue they had. And it would of added a nice twist to the ending.
  9. Woo, another fun episode. It was full of some fun chuckles of oneliners. Seems the map is starting to tell the Mane 6's friends that they need to fix their own friendships too, especially when they're making a mess of things. It was also a bit ironic how Starlight didn't want to be treated as a foul by her dad, yet in the episode Sunburst visited her, she did the spell to make them fouls again (Am I spelling that right?) :O Starlight had a 'goth' phase!?! :O I must know more!! But yeah, fun episode and at first I didn't expect the problem to be between them and their parents... ok fine I did see the clues but I it wasn't at first. Either way, it was pretty fun. Also notice how their cutie marks stopped glowing after Sunburst's mom susgested they should go pay them a visit...
  10. Gotta say, I really enjoyed this episode for a number of reasons. First of all, I find it funny that I had been wondering about how the sun was raised before Celestia was born. I mean she was clearly born and there was clearly a time before her based on various evidence including StarSwirl's mention of seeing her as a young filly. And funny this answers that question. Granted, now I have to wonder first of all, why didn't they just leave the sun up all day and not bring it down... ok there could be consequences but still... and how long were they raising the sun in that way? Was there a time when the sun raised itself and then it magically stopped? How did they not run out of unicorn's before then? And if the strain of raising the sun caused the unicorn's to get fully drained for life (what it implied) yet not Starswirl… why didn't they just add more unicorns? I mean seriously can you imagine all the unicorn's they had to go through for EACH DAY? there was a group of them too and 365 days in a year (assuming anyways) then that's a lot of unicorn's going magic less. Anyways, I also enjoyed how Celestia was a bad actress and I liked how they were able to throw in a 'Honesty's the best policy' despite Twilight should of known better at this stage... because it WAS Celestia and Twilight still has her freak outs when it comes to what should and shouldn't be done when it comes to her. And I enjoyed how Celestia got a bit more time in the sun in this episode
  11. I have to say, this episode was interesting. I enjoyed seeing the 2D renditions of the place they went to in the movie, though I have to wonder... do they really have enough of those shards for every Hipogrif? I mean feels like a lot. And I still remember the sea ponies from that old MLP movie I seen way back when. "Escape to Crystal Castle" always wondered when they'd make an appearance in the FIM series.
  12. Arrested for making this topic 325 pages long.
  13. I'd post after him for a 3rd time :O
  14. Most likely to randomly be the 2nd time I've posted after you did in a thread.
  15. Greetings and Salutations, one who is Princess of the Snow. I would like to welcome you to this land of text and images from which is called a forum. I do hope you enjoy your stay.
  16. Banned for making me go to page 5496 just to see what the last post was.
  17. Hmm... well, first of all we'd have to be clear on what this means exactly. Are you saying if both universes exsisted in real life? Or More that if we had to choose to wipe one from exsistence. (granted what you said implies the former but still I'll tackle both.) So let's start with the former. We still have another conundrum as basically you're asking us to say would we save the MLP universe over any and all other fictional universes or should we pick one... and if so, do we get to pick or is it assumed to be are other favorite series? Well, to be honest the one is hard to say since it would really depend on the universe for me... Cuz if it was say the DBZ universe... I'd pick the DBZ Universe to be saved... then use the dragon balls to wish the MLP back to exsistence in it's own dimension. If the Marvel universe.. again pick it and then use an infinity stone to fix the issue. Ofcourse, when it comes to overall I'll have to say that the MLP world I can see would help with a lot of things... Friendship is powerful and a good thing to teach. So a good majority of them I would choose the MLP world over the others. Though, if it was against the Pokémon Universe... sorry MLP, but I want to go catch me some Pokémon. __ Now if you talk about the latter, then well, MLP is pretty high up on my list so unless you're comparing it to Sonic or Pokémon... I'd probably pick MLP over them.
  18. Funny enough, Trixie was probably one of 2 ponies I actually knew in with the series before I ever watched it. This guy I know was a fan of her and used her as his Xat pic. Even had her name as his "The Great and Powerful Trixy" He talked about her so much that I thought she had a bigger role in the series... have to remember this took place while she only had like 2 episodes she was really in. I was a bit disappointed because I did like her catchphrase. As for the character, I actually do like her. I usually like big ego'd characters and even ones that refer to themselves in the first person. I find them pretty enjoyable and even funny at times. I And yeah I think I like her more that she's a good pony than a bad pony. That ego makes her more fun and I find those 'annoying' bits to be kind of funny. Admittedly, a few times the 'smoke bomb and you can see her running away' joke got a bit old after the 2nd time but that's really it. I also enjoy her jealous and sarcasm at times and when she passes the blame on someone else. I think her jealousy also adds to her character too. So yeah. Well, I mean aside for overselling herself, she's not really done anything that would be untrusting... ok fine she inslaved the town due to her jealousy but even then I can forgive her and look past that easly. She's a changed pony in her own way. I mean I guess. I wouldn't really know what would be untrusting... except se may assume that I will judge her for her past mistakes... but otherwise I don't think she'd think I'm untrustworthy. Would I like to be Friends with myself? Hmm... tough question... Sorry, yeah there's a typo in your post. But on to the actual question you meant. Would I like to be friends with her... I mean she could be a hand full in her arrogance but I think that's more in her own ability and when she's called out on things she'll admit she's 'wrong' (to the extent that is Trixie) but she'll work on changing that issue. So I don't see any reason not too. Would she want to be friends with me? Well, no. because no one wants to be friends with me, why I have no friends. But Seriously though, I doubt I'd really even be noticed by her. Depends on what you mean by this. If you mean in her life regardless of how long she's in the series/the series goes on... then I'd say yes. As for if she'll date anyone in the show... tough call. I mean for starters, they don't deal with romantic type relationships very often in the series... though true EG has hit on it more than FIM... so that version of Trixie has more of a chance. And series do like to have interesting side characters get in relationships.. especially ones that are 'unusual' which fits Trixy. But I can say it's possible but otherwise I couldn't say. First of all, don't judge her on her past. Be there for her if she needs it... be a good practice audience and realize that despite her ego... she is trying her best and is having fun doing it. So look past it. And you'll be good.
  19. Ok, glad I found this, cuz was going to just start a new thread to mention my thoughts on the movie as a whole. So yeah, let's get started. So, I'll go ahead and start by saying that I found the movie a bit, disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, per say. Just I feel like it could of been better. I did like the premise of the movie too, just a few things were a bit of a let down. So let me go ahead and run through some things. Animation: First of all, I did enjoy the animation, it was pretty fun and I loved being able to check out the different ponies and other characters in this new style. Just it was a bit sad going back to the series after it because dang, the animations started to feel a bit 'stiff' I guess the word is, even though they were the same as before. But my mind finally readjusted. Songs: I'll give a brief opinion on that here and probably go into a bit more detail a bit later. But the songs themselves were pretty good. I enjoyed them and they tied into the plot well, without feeling too out of place. Side quests should of been longer: I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Just each time they met a new 'ally' or what not things just... felt too short. Like They get a introduction. Sing a song, Tempest shows up, exists... then gets the next one. Just I feel like the encounters in each of them could of been fleshed out a little more than what they were, imo. Creatures Beyond Equistria: Truth be told this is one of the things that now just short of bugs me. I mean I can 'accept' it but still bugs me. Now, the issue is that while I know there are other kingdom's/lands outside of Equistria, but they've always implied that the planet is populated primary of Ponies. Seriously, in I believe Season 4 ep 1, There were delegates that came from other kingdoms to have a chat with the 3 other princesses... yet these were Ponies. Not to mention the Daring Do stories which I assumed took place outside of Equistria, which would make sense with her books not being sold out there... But again, primarily Ponies. But with this movie, it establishes that there are mostly non-pony (or bipedaled equestrian based species) that make up the outsides of the place. Like it's more dencly populated and Ponies... well seems are more 'rare' considering the cat dude (sorry that I forgot his name... only seen the movie once and it was yesterday) was going to try and sell them to that one dude. Then you have the fact that most of the others were two-legged or more speficially they had 'arms/hands' which bugged me a bit because if you go back to the Equetrians they seem to not get the concept of 'hands' and then there's the 'every pony' terminology which I mean... the kingdom's been around for over 1000 years... and ponies aren't even the primary inhabitants of this planet... so why are they using "Every Pony" for everyone... even to Dragons... I mean it'd make sense if they were the dominant species. (as in the other creatures were more rare) then sure... But since they aren't... Just bugs me. But something I can look past. Starlight Glimmer: I know this was another topic and truth be told I wanted to reiterate a few things here about it. Now, my issue is not that she wasn't part of the main quest, and I understand that (from what I read in that other topic) the movie began working on this movie before Starlight became (as I see it anyways) An honorary member of the mane 6. Now as I said there, I think they should of either moved the Starlight Cameo to after the Friendship festival was back under way at the end of the movie, or removed her cameo entirely. Don't get me wrong, she's my favorite character just I think where they put the cameo hurts the over all story of Starlight than helps with fans. Because we have to ask ourselves, Why didn't she get involved as it makes no sense as to why she didn't. With these two options it allows us to, at the very least, simply believe she wasn't there and didn't know about the problem. Which could be a number of reasons then. For example, she could of went back to chat with the EG characters (or it could of taken place during the Mirror magic EG special) Or perhaps she was away on a friendship problem or some other reason. However, there is another option that I wouldn't of minded seeing. Pretty much replaced Dopey saving Twilight from those crystal bomb things with Starlight. Would make sense and explain why she didn't get involved, AND not really much adjustments to do on that part. Discord: Again let me say that I like Discord, and quiet frankly I'm ok with him not being in the movie... and since he didn't have a cameo like Starlight, we can easily say he was busy or didn't know about the issue. Yeah it was mentioned that Discord may have noticed the 'power imbalance' (forgot the right term there... unless that was it) When the Princess' Magic was transferred into the staff. But you have to remember, this didn't happen until the end of the movie which honestly it lasted at most an hour after it happened. And this wouldn't of been the first time Discord stayed on the sidelines when he could of otherwise been helpful. In some way, he could of just as easily believed that they could handle it and didn't want to rob them of the expierence. Or, for all you know, Discord may not even be able to sense those disturbances while he's at home. Though, Discord coming out in the climax to duke it out with the storm King but then lose, would of helped set up the Mane 6 a bit nicer. The climax: This is more referring to the fight with the storm King. Because it was leading up to something fun but it was a bit disappointing. I mean, how many people called The Storm King breaking his promise to Tempest? Probably a lot. And also with the whole "don't trust anyone" speech, I have to wonder why Tempest assumed he would do it anyways. Maybe she thought he was as niave? Could be manipulated or something? I dunno. But anyways, I just feel like there could of been a bit better when they got to the "Working together with friends" moment. seriously I felt like it didn't have as good a climax when it came to that point. They did start something... had that build with the music when they did that chain to grab the staff... song was nice and momentum had it going well... but lasted like 10 seconds (or a little more) before it cut to "The bad guy returns" theme which just ruined the moment in my opinion. No Friendship beam: Funny, how trigger happy these girls have been when it comes to that friendship beam. Seriously they used it on like all of their foes but like King Sombra (and did the changlings get hit with it? Eh the "Give her all of your love" was practically the same.) So why not have it here? I mean I could see three arguments coming up here. First one being that since the writing started so far back, it may have been before they got the elements returned to them or what not. But I mean they could of easily have gone "Super Pon-yian" ( ) granted they only did that once against Tirek (not counting the dream episode because it was a dream and not actually them.) But this would of been a perfect time to have them return to using it. It would of also made a bit more an awesome climax showing just how much she needed her friends. Secondly, you could argue that Twilight was drained of her magic, so how could she do the friendship blast... uh well, for starters, she was also drained when they went Super Pon-yian so no excuse there. And in EG Twilight even used the power of the element while it was on someone else's head so not impossible. And finally, the actual ending of the Storm King, with how Tempest redeems herself by getting in the way of that crystal snag-em ball thing but honestly that easily could of been done a different way. Like, the friendship blast could of put the storm king in a weakend state... maybe during the friendship blast he tried to counter it with a blast from the staff and well it was over powered but he was hurt but not well fully taken out Then either A, they assumed he was unconscious or what not and they 'celebrate' (Or maybe talk to Tempest and offer her friendship) and he 'comes back for another attack' or they offer him friendship and he's like "No" and tries to back stab them with the crystal ball thing... and each of them boom! you got your Tempest redemption! Why wasn't Tempest's horn fixed?: This was something that I honestly was expecting as it's your typical ending. I thought that it would either happen Storm King would restore it (and either she backstabs him... or he backstabs her another way) Or like she did some kind of magical attack that restored it (like how Rarity's tail was restored after the friendship blast in the 2nd episode ever!) Or one of the alicorns (or multiple of them) would. And while I'm fine with her leaving it the way it was (I do like the look) and I can see where they were going with it... But it doesn't make sense as to why it wasn't... I mean, Surely Twilight would of done so before she returned the alicorns to their state.. or even afterwords as a 'reward' for turning around in the end. But They just didn't... which just bugs me a bit. Ok, I think that's it. Again despite all those 'negative' things, the movie wasn't bad. (granted the climax could of lost a bit of it's magic because my video feed *hulu streaming* lost it's quality and was blury… but still.) Would of loved to have seen those adjustments. And if I remember any others I'll let you know.
  20. Ah, did not know that. Well hello. And what up.. is I'm doing well.
  21. Hello, here to comment on aanother video and yeah this one wan't too bad. Few notes I had while watching it. First off: Oh snap... the currency exchange with the flirting granny with the bel-hop pony was hilarious. Should have accepted it with his hoof Is it just me, or of those two magicians, one makes me thing of a male Trixy? Even a trixy like escape! Yeah, didn't want to revise what I wrote but eh. Again interesting and then the whole 'next year' thing which in this series, you never know when year has taken place. Seriously.
  22. Thanks And yeah used that MLP creator thing. Wish I could draw that well. (seriously my hand drawing is super duper basic and not the best ) I call her Shadow Flare. More to her that I've come up with though. But probably not too interesting :/ Ah yeah, that's true. One of the things I do like about her too. Yep. Though on the disappointing side... I have some of my own ideas (non-fanfiction things) I've been wanting to work on in my free time but find it hard to start on them
  23. Thanks for the welcome and yeah i'm checking out things, working on catching up on Season 8 and doing some comments on the episodes as I watch them for extra fun Curious though, what about Season 8 premiere pushed you to the 'like' Starlight? As for how I watched that much that fast.. I mean, as I said above, I have a lot of time on my hands, and usually when I get into something (rather a movie or series) I tend to watch it/play it non-stop. (well when I'm not doing something else that I require ). Usually when I get interested in a series, I tend to watch the entire thing.
