    I think they should have an elder pony that hasn't got a cutie mark, that has given up on even trying to get one, and then the CMCs would go and try to help,without even asking(kinda like pinkie tried to forcefully befriend grumpy donkey) it would make a great episode

      cutie marks can have many different meanings, what you see as marrying money could mean, a passion for jewels.or a strong bond, we've seen the same with diamond tiara. though i'll admit spoiled rich in particular seems to just be shallow

      Elder as in how old? Kind of play with that with my ponysona, as I still have yet to have a hobby much less a talent at my age. And I also feel like exactly the kind of nearly-middle-aged stallion introvert that would wind up getting dragged around by three rambunctious fillies.

      i was thinking of a grandmare or grandcold, somepony who has given up on life due to never finding their talent, it would also reflect how the CMC could have ended up, and that's why they take it personaly and try to help no matter what
