This group has actually known each other thanks to being pen pals, and have already become close friends; even with long distances in mind. After the initial success with Twilight's Friendship School, the Derbyshire Historical Academy was wanting to try something similar in diversifying their student body. After putting out feelers and not receiving any response due to the EEA's meddling, privateer Corsair put in a word to Sojourner of the Derbyshire Museum of Pony History of a young parrot named Athena. Having known of her network of friends and their shared love of history he proposed they join the academy and learn under the tutelage of Sojourner and her team.

my day started bumpy, with extra hot weather, almost umbearably so, and with my computer deciding it won't work for no apparent reason, some hours later, after taking it apart dusting it thoroughly and putting it back together it now works just fine, so lets hope the rest of the day goes well

So, uh, you’re the closest I have to an artist’s perspective on things & you have helped me out on sketching related topics before so... maybe you can help me on something?

 Kind of hit a wall in practicing drawing. See, ponies have a longer face as would a human subject, but fortunately, from what I have seen most dodge that concern by making the face only slightly longer. My trouble is: my draconequus has a much longer snout. Neigh on crocodilian in length. So surely that would show up from a head-on, eye-to-audience’s-eye, right? I just can’t... image that, even with modeling clay! 

 So, any tips on drawing head on? There’s the whole, quartering diagram drawing tutorials tell you about, but that’s quite tricky to get used to.

Silly theory:

Good morning everyone. How is everyone today? I have to go get my ear checked after what happened last month. I think some of you remember what happened back in July. Anyways, I hope everything goes well and I don't have to have surgery on it.

If there is one gripe I have with collecting old, used games it's that the discs (especially on popular systems like the Wii, PS1 and PS2) tend to have a lot of scratches, scuff marks and other things on the data surface of the disc. So far, I've been lucky to be able to clean up some of these discs and have them work, but, I really don't want to end up returning a broken disc.
