I've been around long enough to see the varying phases this fandom has gone through in terms of content creation. Have we finally reached a "printed,physical copy, fanfics" phase, because I just found a goldmine of the stuff!

It's been a difficult week. I could use a pony hug or two

I think I got a problem. I might be about to order 5 more books. I still have 5 I haven't read yet and a 6th already on the way. D:

Aggghhhh these days has been an endless rollercoaster ride. I just got approved for my work placement, I got to get troublemaker to the vet, I got my car back after a month, I'm happy but also really sad but also really confuuuused

Welp looks like a big storm is heading my way later on tonight... 1:15am hopefully it will just rain all day and no tornados...

so after listening to some more brony music i think i have becoming more and more attached to octavia as my number one favorite plus also re watching the fan animations :3 and also a dark fan fic of octavia xD

I am looking to start a rather large project and want to know if its worth my time. I intend to create a book on how to use the elements of harmony, the pillars, and various ponies etc to improve your life and the world around you. The working title would be Hoof Prints: A path to Harmony and Friendship

BLOG ENTRY FOR EASY FINDING OF THIS INFORMATION

Aw come on, eBay. I found some plushies - listing said free international shipping. But as soon as I put them in my cart its over 24 bucks shipping. The struggles of being am European fan 

I spent the last several evenings exploring a really beautiful property. It's very rural with no neighbors close by. The night sky was wonderful, the darkest I've ever seen! Only saw one small light dome low on the horizon and the few clouds I saw looked like charcoal briquettes (really dark).  The horizons away from the light dome measured 21.6 mpsas. (No zenith reading with MW overhead) 

It really is a treat to see dark lane structures in the Milky Way with the naked eye.

Alicorn OC’s are cool. I don’t care if they “despecialize” the alicorn species, make them “overpowered,” or “turn them to Mary Sues.” They’re their creations. Whether it’s Chris-Chan, Lightning Bliss, Ashley H, or whoever, it’s their OC or ponysona. It’s none of our business to tell them what to do with their creations. If they want an alicorn OC or have their ponysona be one, more power to them.

Pretty sure this is what I am thinking about when I think about Sci-Twi and mad scientist 

Would "The Great and Powerful" Trixie from Equestria be friends with Sunset Shimmer? 

Lauren Faust is deservedly revered in the brony fandom for helping bring Pony back on the map and deliver its most popular and memorable generation, but it unfortunately came with the founder of the whole franchise, Bonnie Zacherle, becoming mostly a forgotten relic. But over the last four years, Zacherle has been given the recognition and respect she truly deserves.

Bonnie’s panel this past Sunday (where she describes her lifelong love for horses and how she came about to Creating the toy line) marked the pinnacle of that journey. The “Bonnie” chants and heartfelt Q&A afterward choked me up, making it my most favorite panel of the entire convention.
