  1. Allow me to give you a brief history lesson. Ever since our species has existed, males have oppressed us, forcing upon harmful stereotypes, enacting brutality, etc., and this oppression still continues to this day. Women are still paid 78 cents for every dollar a man makes. Women are not given an equal voice in politics, let alone a greater one. Society still expects all of us to "look pretty" - dressing up in pink attire, wearing make-up, etc. Did you know that all women are raped multiple times per day? I am. When the bus driver asked for me ticket today, he was raping me. When my dad asked me what I wanted for my birthday last month, he was raping me. When a man said hello to me on the street, he was raping me. Did you know that 1 in 2 women are raped in colleges? 1 in 2. Female oppression still continues to this day, and honestly, it must come to an end. Unlike you, I am willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that one day, every female can be safe, happy, and equal.
  2. So you are saying the people who are physically female are equal to males? Disgusting, and inaccurate. Have a nice day. And if you really want equality, that won't happen until all males are gone... one way or another.
  3. If you mean the physically male form, then no. I'm forever glad I'm not one.
  4. It is true that, at the end of the day, we are not the writing team writing G5; but that doesn't mean we can't encourage them to go in a politically correct direction.
  5. Given that people who are physically female are still being oppressed in the media, in video games, in movies, at work - in every walk of life, truth be told - I think a really progressive step would be if the next series of MLP should contain a set of female only cast and characters. What is your opinion on this idea?
  6. Nothing. It's just like any other day.
  7. 1. We don't know when Equestria Girls will end. It could be at the end of the next special, it could be a year or two from now 2. Since no one can come to an exact agreement on their ages, I find it to be likely that by the time the show ends, those disagreements will continue 3. One reason why I believe we don't know their ages is because it wouldn't benefit the viewer in any way. It doesn't add anything to the plot. Let's pretend that Equestria Girls lasted for another decade. (Highly improbable, if not impossible, but hear me out.) I have a sense of doubt that we would be following them through their journey beyond high school, since that is one of the core aspects of the show; it's a high school spin-off of MLP
  8. Well, Rarity's eyelashes are fake, so her having a fake accent wouldn't surprise me either. I suppose you are right. Or unless they don't actually age, like a lot of fictional characters that are in a school system.
  9. It is very likely that Canterlot High is centered in America. One piece of evidence is Rarity, as she was born in England but is obviously not living in there now, and I find it somewhat hard to imagine seeing Applejack moving too far from home. Also, in the MLP universe, "Vanhoover" and Manehattan (among other locations) have been mentioned several times, so we have to assume that the EQG world has provinces and states that are similar, if not identical, to our own. Some of the Rainbooms can already drive, and Fluttershy can drive on her own without an adult in the vehicle, as evidence by her giving Sunset driving lessons in one of the shorts. In addition, most (if not all) of the Rainbooms have part-time jobs, and in America, you need to be at least 16 years old to work and to begin to learn how to drive. Fluttershy once stated in MLP that Pinkie Pie is a year younger than her, and let's assume the same is true in the EQG world. This would put all the EQG at least 16 years old, with some them being 17. And with some of the latest shorts taking place in the new school year, I would assume that Sunset Shimmer, Fluttershy, possibly Twilight Sparkle and maybe Rarity are 18, and Rainbow Dash, Applejack (since she was seen driving with Granny Smith in another short) and Pinkie Pie are now 17, then 16 years old. I think I've cracked the egg. What do you think?
  10. So, what do you think the futures of the human versions of Sci-Twi, Sunset Shimmer, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and, as a bonus, Trixie, will hold? (Ex. College, after college, etc.) Do you think the Mane 7 will continue to keep in touch, or will they drift apart after high school? Do you think Trixie will keep up her devious, selfish ways forever? Sound off in the comments below.
  11. All I'm saying is, if she were real, and you tried to look past her... issues, then you'd the one who'd probably be sorry. Just saying.
  12. And she would definitely use your compassion to her advantage.
  13. I doubt it. Everyone at Canterlot High knows she's a fraud, not to mention she's been getting progressively lazier as time goes on. Behind all the narcissism, witty comments and rabbits in hats, she's just a little girl in an outfit crying for mommy and daddy, and her turn in the spotlight. It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic.
  14. I have a prediction for why RAW is much suckier than usual. Vince wants to raise the stock of Smackdown up for when FOX eventually "takes over" the brand, they are more impressed by it. But why improve the product when you can make RAW (which is bulletproof, and has been on the USA Network for 50+ years, so they can afford to take a hit) suck, which makes people think, "Smackdown is awesome!", when in reality, Smackdown is just meh.
  15. Good thing, because the most recent episodes of RAW have been rated some of the worst in RAW history. Also, there is rumors that Vince McMahon has lost interest in Seth Rollins. (After fans chanted "boring" at Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins' match at TLC, Vince was greatly frustrated and Rollins' push may be done and dusted prematurely.) There are also rumors that he is thinking of Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar (squash match) at next year's WrestleMania.
  16. Sorry, I just got caught up in a massive political debate earlier IRL and I'm still... not all there... Sorry, I just got caught up in a massive political debate earlier IRL and I'm still... not all there... But all I will say is I am in 100% favor of multiculturalism.

  18. I meant that Caucasians don't really have a culture TODAY.
  19. In an age that is focused on driving forward compassion, diversity, tolerance, etc? I think not. And don't let anyone tell you that life is short... Because it ain't. Off topic (slightly): A question for anyone reading this: I was born in early 1999. Does this make me a millennial? I keep on getting mixed answers on the Internet. I very much agree with you. I would love to live in Victorian times, to experience the culture (even though Caucasians don't have a culture... not really), the music, and the fancy attire. But pre-2016 (and especially back then) was a very different world. Sexism, racism, etc. were much more common (and tolerated) than they are today, so no thank you. I'm comfortable living in the 21st century, and even this age needs drastic improvement.
  20. One thing is for certain: the majority of gaming companies are not looking in the long-term. For example, Bethesda recently announced that they will be using the same "groundbreaking engine" for the upcoming Elders Scrolls game. Why? It is a very simple, easy (and buggy) engine that they can just copy a former game (such as Skyrim), paste it onto it, tweak the story and the world a bit, and boom! Done. They don't care at all about the long-term; it is all about the short-term for them. Call me a pessimistic, but I don't see the video game industry falling for decades to come. I hope I am proving wrong.
  21. Unfortunately, you and I (among other people who are aware or care about these issues) only make up a tiny portion of the population. The rest of them see a crappy product as "a flawed product (but what products aren't?) and that people are too entitled these days". Honestly, if people's idea of a standard product are, for example, a video game that is half-complete that you have to pay DLC for, that is riddled with game-breaking bugs that will never be fixed, filled to the brim with MTX, loot boxes, and pay-to-win mechanics, etc., then I don't know what this world has come to. I have one argument against the compromise that MTX should only be cosmetic: the VAST majority of MTX sales are cosmetic-only items. This encourages companies to continue participating in these methods, meaning the sky is the limit for them. If one really wants MTX and loot boxes banned, it can't just encompass some parts of the problem. Exactly. Apparently, relatively recently, they found a way around the law that will keep said lawmakers scratching their heads for years. The original loot box system was like this: you pay with real money for a loot box for a random chance to get what you want, with no telling what you will get. The new system? You pay for a loot box opening, you know what you are getting, but you have to pay for them in order to continue buying more. The gambling addiction is still real, the damage is still there, but technically, it cannot be classed as gambling. Sadly, if these practices disappear, other methods will take their place. Every human, every living thing, is driven by greed, one way or another. (And fear? Lack of greed.) We all want something, we all need something, and most people don't give a pony's rump about anyone else. Not really. Money is but the physical embodiment of greed, gambling is but a side affect of money, and as long as all creatures are hide-wired to get what they feel they want or need, then these practices cannot be considered anything out of the ordinary.
  22. Perhaps it is best that way.
  23. My advice: never trust anyone. And always try to find ways to manipulate people to your own ends as well, otherwise you're going from a hidden predator to being a chicken nugget, so to speak. Just some kind advice here. We humans (and all life) are very self-centered beings.
  24. And yet looks fade away, but personality is situational at best. Actions are what count. A person's actions speak their true colors.
