  1. I just re-watched the season 1 episode "Winter Wrap-up", and I really enjoyed it as always! I also noticed that MLP FiM has really changed over the past few years, the animation and the focus.

In the early seasons the mane six are the central focus, and in the later seasons the central focus is on multiple ponies. When was the last time we got an episode that didn't have at least one non-mane six as a side-character in it? Not that it's a bad change, I think it's an improvement. If you want to watch only the mane six, watch the early seasons, if you want to watch the mane six + tons of other ponies/creatures, watch the later seasons. I personally prefer to do both.

Anyways, it's really fun to re-watch episodes no matter how old they are, especially your favorites!

"Fake It 'til You Make It" is the closest to a Mane 6-only episode from season 8... It does feature Maud and Starlight briefly in the opening, but otherwise it's just the Mane 6 and one-shot characters. As for the last episode to feature only the Mane 6 (or some of them) and Spike, I think that's "P.P.O.V." from season 6. Neither of them particularly highly-rated episodes, so I guess the switch in focus is a good thing in a way! :please:

The most interesting thing to me is that we've even had a few episodes without any of the Mane 6 in the last couple of seasons, "The Break Up Break Down" being the most recent one (though a couple of them are mentioned by name).
