Working overtime is difficult and annoying, especially when it’s mandatory, yet I have no choice but to do that. Why am I being forced to work overtime on weekends? I just want some time to recover from working as hard as I can all week, but I can’t get that time I need when I’m working 13 days in a row. I know the paycheck is fat when you work overtime, but I would like decide for myself if I want a fat paycheck or not instead of the company I work for forcing me. Not only that, but this mandatory overtime has lasted several months already, it actually started long before I was hired, and it looks like it isn’t going to end anytime soon! I would understand if overtime lasted only a few weeks and maybe even a few months, but this has been going on for way more than a few months. On the bright side, at least I don’t have to work everyday (I get one day off every 13 days I work).
