  1. "I don't use ad blockers, they cost a lot." - me, 2020 Almost two years from then, I use an ad blocker every day. Started using one quite awhile ago actually, it's effective and doesn't cost much. I love ad blockers, they improve life on the internet.
  2. Spent time with my family today, had pizza together. Despite having a few times where I felt down, today was a good day for me.

Great to hear it, my friend! :kindness:

  3. I'd be fine with it as long as the two universes are kept separate canonically.
  4. Here's what G5 could do wrong that would make me stop watching G5: If G5... 1) goes a similar direction to "Pony Life" 2) goes too far into politics 3) changes the main characters' personalities and/or physical appearances in a bad way 4) goes a similar direction to "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" 5) ruins a good G4 character's personality With that said, I could also stop watching G5 if I lose interest for whatever reason.
  5. How's everypony doing today?

I'm doing ok today, much better than I've been doing the past several days. Been a rainy day, but I still had fun playing video games today.

@Totally Lyra Work can often be very stressful, especially when you are frustrated. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you. :coco:

  6. I think it depends on the situation, the work, the person, and your personal convictions and ideals. Is the situation involving that person committing atrocities? Is the work that person made a work about immoral activities or reflects the thoughts of a person who would commit terrible acts? Is the person extremely immoral? And do you personally hold convictions and ideals that you would be going against should you make a decision regarding that situation? Such questions would be good to ask when presented with a situation where you have to choose whether or not to buy a work from a terrible person. One must also keep in mind that there is no black and white answer to this moral dilemma. Chick-Fil-A offer good tasting food that a large amount of people buy regularly, but Chick-Fil-A supports anti-LGBTQ+ groups and pro-Christian groups. Does that mean that everyone who bought their food on a regular basis is supporting such groups as well? Or how about this scenario: J. K. Rowling has said some hateful words, yet she wrote the Harry Potter books. Does that mean whoever bought her books supports the hateful words that she speaks? These moral dilemmas aren't exactly black and white, but rather they are grey areas that depend on each individual's view of morality. Ultimately, one should not take this topic lightly, nor should one go to extremes as a response. As I've stated above, it depends on a wide range of variables that determines how one should respond to this moral dilemma.
  7. The fandom can't be revived because it was never dead. It's been declining from having a large amount of popularity, but it has came nowhere close to being dead.
  8. I think that's possible! It would be cool if there was a whole different type of ponies living on another planet besides the planet that Equestria is on!
  9. I've been browsing Reddit occasionally, and there's this subreddit called "r/antiwork". This is their "about this community" description: "A subreddit for those who want to end work, are curious about ending work, want to get the most out of a work-free life, want more information on anti-work ideas and want personal help with their own jobs/work-related struggles." This got me thinking about how MLP Forums members view work. Do you hate, love, or are indifferent towards work? Do you have any anti-work ideals?
  10. They are likely not going to be affected at all, unless they happen to be about the current war.
  11. I think that an appearance of a guest star seldomly is a good idea, but it should definitely not be a regular occurrence, nor should it be relied upon in maintaining a good reputation and solid income for the show.
  12. Love the Pipp screencap because it appears that she will be a playable character! Makes me wonder if all five of the main characters will be playable.
  13. My opinion on Elden Ring:

Despite having only played it a little, I don't really like this game since it's difficult. While I don't necessarily dislike difficult games in general, games with the difficulty and mechanics of Dark Souls and Elden Ring don't appeal to me. However, maybe one day I'll give Elden Ring another try, since it's open world, which is a genre that I enjoy very much.

I'm thinking about giving Elden Ring a try. With it's price tag, I don't want to buy it unless I know I want to play though.

I love the Souls games, but Elden Ring simply is missing something that made those games great, in my opinion. It just isn't anywhere near as fun as them.

I honestly love hard games, but I understand some people don't. I also understand that every FromSoft game is doomed to have the "It's just Dark Souls but with this" stigma thanks to Souls being what made the company what it is. Hope you'll come back to the game in the future, since you can learn to love it so long as you just take it for what it is.

  14. Looks like it will be a fun game! It doesn't look like something that I will play much though. I might or might not buy it depending on the cost.
  15. I love the new Destiny 2 expansion! It's very fun for me, and I anticipate more fun to be had in the upcoming seasons!

  16. Regardless of whether this is legitimate, I would be mildly content with the idea that G4 characters will not be returning. The reason I wouldn't be moderately or fully content is because I think that there are plenty of opportunities to be had where at least one or two G4 characters return. Also, I highly doubt that no G4 characters whatsoever would return. Even if this was a legitimate staff member or Hasbro partner, I would doubt their idea that no G4 characters would be returning depending on their position as a staff member or Hasbro partner. If it was a writer, then I'd be more convinced. If it was someone like a voice actor, or a Hasbro partner who has only a small relation with Hasbro, I'd be more skeptical.
  17. He did show guilt for his actions after he destroyed Sunny's lighthouse and his rise to power over Maretime Bay and the earth ponies was a result of him twisting fear into anger rather than selfish or unethical reasons. While that doesn't excuse his actions, it doesn't necessarily make him a villain either. So, I do have some sympathy for Sprout, although I also think that he should be punished.
  18. I don't recall ever speedrunning a game, it sucks the fun out of it for me.
  19. Happy birthday, my friend! :eager:

  20. Happy birthday, my friend! :yay:

  21. Mostly any material can be used for currency. Look at currencies all over the world in real life, or throughout history, as some of them are made of different materials than dollars.
  22. I don't own a Switch, so hopefully this game comes out on another platform. Also, I might or might not play it depending on how well it turns out to be upon release.
  23. I've been feeling a little better lately. I'm probably going to see a psychologist and/or psychiatrist soon though, since my mental health is still in a bad condition.

  24. The world is burning, I'm slowly decaying, and no one cares about either.

Anyways, I've got some news about my life.

My family, who I'm currently living with, are living in a parsonage because we got kicked out of our old house (we were in the process of leaving anyways). Unfortunately, someone else might stay in the parsonage in the distant future because they need it too, so my family is going to have to leave there as well. Problem is, we have nowhere to go, and my parents have been trying to find a house for around a year or so but can't afford one on the market right now because prices are stupidly high.

Also, as if one problem isn't enough, I still have depression, anxiety, and autism, and they have gotten much worse - again. I quit my job to go back to college and because they were overworking me to death, but I've stopped doing my classes and I'm unemployed. I'm currently going to only one doctor, a family doctor, about once a month or so.

So basically life sucks, everything is falling apart, and I'm looking forward to dying sooner rather than later.

  25. Probably depression, it's been years since I was first diagnosed with it, yet I still have it.
