The main difference I saw was the number of faint stars that are visible in a darker sky. The constellations are harder to recognize because of the extra stars.  

The capital of Sweden is about 60°N. I bet Jupiter and Saturn are really low in the sky up there.  

The most distant planet I've observed and imaged was Neptune, with my Celestron C8. With my 16" telescope, it was Uranus. I was able to capture cloud details on Uranus with that large telescope. I was so excited that night!  

Look at that! Neptune is so far away, and you got such good color, I like the orange gradient at the bottom (which might not be the planet but just your telescope? But still, beautiful!)

Uranus and Neptune are not even on my radar, really they are completely too far away.

Do you stack images to get clear photos? Of course you do, you are a pro at this level

The orange gradient is probably from my atmospheric dispersion corrector (ADC). Neptune is to faint to use the software for aligning those prisms, so I had to guess the positions. I was definitely off.  

When observing stars and planets much below 60° or so in altitude, you'll notice a red-orange color to the bottom and blue towards the top of the object. That's atmospheric dispersion. A corrector can cancel that out, if the prisms are positioned correctly. Easy to do with the software on bright planets, but on Uranus and Neptune... ha! Good luck!  

Yep! I record raw video and use stacking software to stack the best frames. I use another program to sharpen the images and adjust white balance if needed. It's fun!  

I also image in the Near IR and UV spectrum. Could image in the Midwave IR band, but that camera is entirely too heavy and big to mount to the telescope.
