My new laptop arrived a couple days ago. Got all of the software installed on it to run my telescope cameras and such. Having usb 3.0 ports is such a huge plus when it comes to these cameras.
Heh, now that I think about it, this my first computer with a Core i7. All of my other computers have the older Core 2 duos and Quads.

Just noticed a couple more streaks of grey hair. With the way things have been going lately, gonna have a lot more when this year ends.

I have a camp house there in addition to my RV, so there's much more room when family comes to visit.
Skies, not so much. The humidity this time of year makes the night sky murky, tho it was crystal clear last Friday. Could see dark lane structure and the bulge in the Milky Way. Fall skies will be much better when the humidity decreases.

Congratulations NASCAR. You just lost a ton of fans, including me. Not like I was really following the sport much this past year anyhow.
Adios.

My personal experiences suggest that not everyone sees it that way. Confederate flags are everywhere, where I live. A lot of folks that fly them view it as a southern heritage and are decent people. Sure there's definitely some racist rednecks that fly it and perhaps for more sinister reasons.
Personally, I'm indifferent towards flags and symbols. And I say this as someone who has experienced significant racism in my elementary school years.

I'm right there with ya, @Fluttershyfan94. Deranged political mobs insist on injecting politics into everything. When I tune into a game, I want to watch the game. No politics!

Wish there was a way to block myself from seeing a certain sub-forum.
Really don’t want to see it, or be tempted to engage in it.
Even though I probably wouldn’t actually block myself from it anyway.
Anyways I started my adhd meds today. He prescribed Adderall.
Of course it’s too early to tell if it’s right or not, but I really like the way it’s made me feel so far. I’m more energetic, and seem more focused than normal. It’s definitely boosted my sense of hope.
Hope all you guys are having a wonderful day, mine has been great so far.

Finally. Paint project is done! @Le Trotteur Sauvage here is your masterpiece come to life. I added my own sparkle to the front end, instead of leaving the chrome I painted it black.
I’ve been working on this all morning. Its time for a shower now. What do y’all think?

Man hearing about all these parents who track their kids through GPS on their phones and stuff makes me glad that stuff wasn’t a thing yet when I was a kid/teen.
Im glad I dodged that bullet.
I say as a kid who was Mr. goody two shoes who never did anything bad anyway.

My mother worked 2 jobs for most of my childhood, so I got to stay home by myself at a young age. I pretty much dabbled in everything from tinkering with electronics to lawnmowers. Pretty much as long as I had good grades, my mother didn't really mind me getting into things.
Did get my ass tore up for disassembling the microwave and shooting out the screen door glass with a pellet gun tho.

Well ponies I need to get to bed. I’m so so sleepy and it’s back to work for me tomorrow. Goodnight from your resident Florida Pone.

I got this little guy for in the truck cab. Having no AC doesn’t bother me as long as I can put the windows down, but, with it raining continuously like it has been lately driving with the windows down isn’t an option, unless I want the entire truck cab smelling like mold the next day.
It might not blow ice cold air but it’s better than having no air movement in the cab when I can’t put the windows down.-
I know what ya mean. Sitting at a traffic light with no AC is unbearable this time of the year I'm just glad the seats are vinyl or synthetic leather. It's easy to clean.
My truck came with factory installed AC, but the system was in such bad shape, I just had it completely removed. I have an aftermarket heater tho. Looks like i need to find an aftermarket AC

The tropical storm is gonna graze by me in the next day or so.
It’s always nice when the weather from a tropical storm (not hurricane!) makes its way up here. It’s a nice break from the heat while it lasts.
I hate spring/summer. Gets so dang humid and hot here.

I really wish there was a way we could keep politics off this site. But, politics are everywhere so I suppose it can’t be avoided unfortunately.

Spoiler
Just kidding. Or am I?

Well, I'm gonna be gone for a while. Like, a few weeks. I'll see you all again around the start of July.
-
This week has been incredibly difficult for my family and I. When you stop and think about it, life on this planet is short.

@Lucky Bolt, Barring some kind of miracle, I'm afraid not.
Thank y'all for the kind words and hugs.
