  1. Hopefully I'll have a beach ready physique. lol. But kidding aside, I'd like to have a much more muscular physique. Something like 15% body fat with abs and v-taper. I'm close at 18% BF and can just see the onset of abs. Have a bit of a v-taper too. Just need to keep working out harder than last time!
  2. Likely sleeping. I have a meeting at work first thing in the morning.
  3. I'm technically still single but I am dating a lovely lady at the moment. Been dating for one month now and have a 5th date this week.
  4. Bananas, blueberries, blackberries, dewberries, and huckleberries. Yummm! Speaking of, can't wait for the huckleberries to ripen. The wild bushes along the creek bank are loaded
  5. My ideal date would be stargazing and S'mores by the campfire. I love activity dates like bowling, laser tag, axe throwing, etc. I'm pretty decent at holding a conversation during dinner dates but prefer an activity to go along with it. Great way to bond and connect with someone, in my opinion.
  6. Mello Yello zero sugar, but I can hardly find them at the grocery store. If they ever make Fresca zero sugar, I'm buying up all of their inventory.
  7. I had a fairly recent change of heart on this issue. I do want to raise a family someday.
  8. I drink about 1 or 2 cans a day but only the zero sugar ones. Really need to kick the habit anyway since artificial sweeteners aren't good for ya. I've had the zero sugar version and those things are addictive! lol
  9. Prior to my major weight loss, I took 2 blood pressure medications and 1 for underactive thyroid. Also had no self esteem or confidence. After losing over 100lbs and putting on a lot of muscle, I reversed those conditions and no longer need any medications. I'm like a different person now and much more confident too! Main thing that bothers me sometimes is my right shoulder, usually after a hard workout.
  10. I had 3 baked chicken leg quarters and 4 scrambled eggs. Nothing fancy but takes care of my protein needs.
  11. I can walk around outdoors at night with no problem but creepy old buildings at night? NOPE! At least outside, I can still see with starlight but indoor darkness is pitch black.
  12. Right shoulder is killing me after a brutal workout. A reminder I'm not 18 and invincible anymore. Other than that, I'm doing well.
  13. 7-8 hours. I can't function with less than 5hrs and more than 9 makes me slow and groggy. I recently went thru a week long stretch of 3-4hrs of sleep per night. Had a hard time falling asleep and when I did, I would wake up at 2am with leg cramps. Usually low electrolytes are the culprit but this time the usual (sodium, potassium, magnesium) didn't work. Turns out it was low calcium! I've been sleeping normal again after eating more calcium rich foods.
  14. Feeling pretty decent this evening. Hot shower got rid of most of the soreness from working out hard this week.
  15. I had 3 baked chicken leg quarters with some cheese and a couple strawberries. Need that protein!
  16. In the spring/summer months, I like a low fade with long top parted to the side. In the winter, I'll grow it out a bit longer and just do a side part.
  17. I miss this place. It's been a while!

      Tee hee. :P

  18. Really enjoyed the eclipse last night, even tho it was cold and windy. Brrrr! It's pretty surreal seeing the winter Milky Way and Fall Zodiacal Light together with the red Moon. One of the pleasures of living far away from city light pollution.

I made an animation of the eclipse up to a few minutes beyond peak. This eclipse was a partial (95%). Had to call it quits shortly after cuz the cold was zapping my camera batteries and my coffee had worn off.

Not sure if Twily knew this or not but that camera trigger is programmable. She could've set it to take pics every few minutes so she could stay by the heater (worth every penny, btw)  ^_^

    Enjoy!

Woah! Masterful work, Phosphor! Stunning shots. :o

  19. I love their hash browns, but that's about it. Don't care for their food. Gas station a few miles down the road has better biscuits
  20. Found a gas station that sells kerosene. I haven't seen a kerosene pump since I was a little kid
  21. I'm glad I did a test run ahead of time for the lunar eclipse. I haven't used any of my telescopes in almost a year and it showed when it came time to assemble the components needed for attaching my camera. Got it figured out but I should probably draw a schematic.

      Heh, we both are!

Weather is looking good for the Lunar Eclipse. Just hope Rainbow Dash does her job and keeps the clouds away

Glad to see that you were able to pull Twilight away from her book to help you with the telescope. :twi:

      Wow, fantastic work! :pinkie:

You have the exact same Twilight plushie as me. :adorkable: I'm sure she can't wait to stargaze with you. ^_^

  22. I take medicine for high blood pressure and thyroid. Hoping to get off them for good soon as I've lost a lot of weight. Already had my BP med cut in half.
  23. There's a lunar eclipse later this week and Twilight forgot to unpack the rest of my telescope gear. Batteries need to be charged.... she's slacking  ^_^

@Phosphor Well, that new autobiography of Starswirl the Bearded just came out. She’s been a little busy reading that. :adorkable:

  24. Flame spreader for one of my large center draft lamps came in. This thing looks new old stock cuz there aren't any wear marks and the brass is still shiny. The old one is missing the spreader ring. The lamp functioned ok but produced very smelly exhaust.

These lamps seem like crude instruments from the 1800s, but there's actually some impressive engineering behind the components. Flame spreaders are designed to regulate airflow to the wick and burn off unspent fuel. After warm-up, the lamps produce virtually no odor. The central tube draws fresh air from the bottom of the lamp, which keeps the fuel in the font from overheating.

The result is a nice cozy tabletop fireplace  :BrightMacContent:
