I rewatched a few MLP episodes last week while out sick. I don't really watch much TV
-
Smart TV? Streaming services? No such thing here. Only internet I can get is tethering 4g lte off my phone.
-
I watched Resident Evil: Retribution last sunday with the family. I had already seen it before but they picked it.

My handwriting is decent... more or less

No, I'd like to get an antibody test done before I consider that route. I've been exposed multiple times by family members that were sick with covid and may have already had it, so I may have antibodies. I plan to get a test done at my next doctor's appointment.

I had mega cravings for a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit this morning. Thankfully I didn't give in. Wasn't easy tho!
I'm doing the 16/8 intermittent fasting, so I skip breakfast

I prefer spring water out of the ground. There's a couple springs on my property, but I've yet to try them.
I ordered a countertop water distiller since the tap water here has fluoride in it and tastes funny at my house. I think its cuz of the plastic pipes. Has a chemical/plastic taste. Water tastes fine out of the spigot near my shop but those pipes are older.
Also, I don't like to drink bottled water much. It's nearly impossible to remove all of the monomers from the plastics used in bottles. Don't be fooled by the BPA Free label. Often times, manufacturers will use a substitute from the same family, such as BPS (Bisphenol-S), which is also an endocrine disruptor.

I've had to change my sleep schedule a bit to compensate for my long commute to work. Usually go to bed around 10:30pm and wake up between 6-630am

A few bats. Hey, it's the middle of the month

Ate two handfuls of Huckleberries and a couple blueberries from the bushes in the front yard.
Oh, and a peach from one of my peach trees. It was juicy and delicious! -
I've been feeling pretty decent this week. Still have a bit of a dry cough from whatever that was last week. My voice still isn't 100% either.
Gonna have a covid antibody test done at my next doctor's appointment. Don't think that was a cold cuz the symptoms were much worse. -
2020 was definitely a low point in life for me. Started with the passing of my grandfather in June. It was from emergency surgery complications, so not covid related. The pandemic did however delay his military memorial service for several months, which really sucked. That delayed closure for a while. My grandmother became ill with Covid around that time in September and had to be hospitalized in October. Sadly, she died of a heart attack the day before her birthday in November.
Rest of my family was sick with covid around the same time and recovered. I got sick around that time too but tested negative, tho I strongly suspect I may have had it already. I would need to have an antibody test done to confirm.
I was very close with my grandparents so losing them was devastating and took a serious toll on my mental health. I still haven't healed fully from last year. Clearly it's gonna take some time -
My bed is right next to the window, which faces one of the creeks with the waterfall. I sleep with it open every night as I find the sounds of nature relaxing.
Also enjoy waking up to the birds chirping, especially Bob White Quail -
Not much. Swept the house and the back porch. It's been raining all weekend, so kinda limited on what I can do at the moment.

Feeling fine today but I'm still quite clammy from that cold

Definitely gonna go with gasoline. My commute to work is an hour, so I have to fill up weekly.
Pretty much everything else is bought on a monthly basis- 2

I live in a very rural area next to a national forest. Closest town (pop <1000) is about 20 minutes away, so any hot food ya get will be cold and soggy after the drive home

Skeeters, horseflies, and yellow flies are really bad here around sunset cuz of the close proximity to water. Bitin' bastards

I haven't worn a mask in about 6 months. Last year I used the blue disposable ones my work had and sometimes an old cotton t-shirt

I just moved into my new house which sits on a hilltop surrounded by 2 creeks. Owned the land for about 2 years now.
It's a beautiful place. I plan to be buried here -
I would say when I was sick with Type B Flu in 2010. Was bedridden for 3 days but recovered quickly. I was back in college on day 4

Neighbor by my old house fried some chicken for lunch. Ohhhhh it was so heavenly
Not exactly healthy but I stayed within the confines of my diet- 1

I just moved into my new house a month ago so no vacation this year.
I plan to just enjoy the outdoors more. Will probably do some fishing and kayaking since I'm not far from a public lake- 1
Do you still play video games from your childhood?
in Media Discussion
I still do tho I have a weird relationship with video games. Interest comes and goes and I can go thru a video game drought that last several years
