    The 90's were great but I think it's hyped up a bit much these days. The cartoons and video games were definitely awesome but I don't miss dial up one bit. 90's music... eh, not really my favorite. I like 80's music more.

    I heard back from the repair place. Hopefully I'll get my camera back in 2 weeks. Can't do any long exposure astrophotography without it and I'm dying to do some!

      @Tacodidra, It was the shutter. It's dead. The mirror box assembly is going to be replaced, so it should be good as new when I get it back. (after a thinner wallet, of course)

      @Lil'Cinnamon, for a while, Sweetie Belle was my favorite from the CMC's. I don't know what it is exactly, but I just find Apple Bloom to be fun and adorable to watch.

    I can't say that it has since I've only been a fan for over a year. MLP has brought me more joy when I come home from a stressful day at work or some other event. The show helps me unwind and laugh more. One more season and I can probably toss those blood pressure meds.

    Right now, I have more tracks from Wooden Toaster. I recently ran across "Not Much to MIss" from 4everfreebrony and I'm starting to like their content.

    I think Rainbow Dash is the most recognizable outside of the fandom. I don't see MLP merchandise very often in public, but the few times I have, I recall seeing mostly Rainbow Dash. My first MLP:FiM merchandise was a Rainbow Dash coffee mug.

    It's not from my 16in telescope, but the C8 is definitely capable. I recorded some video in near IR last night, but the C8 is just too small to resolve any cloud features on Uranus.

      Thank you so much! Even without the cloud features, that's more than I've seen of it thus far. How long of an exposure was that?

      Shutter speed: 18ms. Luckily, when I record video, the software saves a text file with all the settings. I recorded 10 minutes of video and stacked the best 15% of frames. I use Autostakkert!3 for stacking and Registax for sharpening.

    I spend about 5 hours a day online, mostly at night. I watch way too many youtube videos.

    Finally watched this and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I laughed my butt off when Twilight was stressing out over everything. From long lists, to diagrams...Oh, Twilight, only you can make pudding so complicated. Also, yayy! on Derpy getting another speaking role. I think they got the post office scene right too. It really is like that.

    Found Uranus with no problem last night. I used my C8 instead of the Skywatcher 16, due to time constraints. I plan to try again Thursday night (need sleep, lol). I am looking for banding near the equatorial region, which is only visible in Near IR light and in large telescopes. Enjoy everypony!

    I waited til Uranus was 60 degrees in altitude before imaging. It was worth it. The atmosphere is so much calmer near the zenith.
