    Grapes, cheese, and whatever candy/chips I have in the cabinet are my go to comfort foods when stressed. If I don't have any of those, I'll make a trip to Sonic and get a peanut butter milkshake.

    I got stung by a bumble bee when I was a kid. It hurt but not as bad as a swarm of yellow jackets. I've been nailed by those wretched creatures several times, while cutting grass. I get revenge by pouring gasoline in their nest in the ground and lighting it.

    I have a sticker of Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark on my largest telescope.

    Hmmm, Mars is getting a bit far away to image well. I think this will do it for the 2018 apparition.

      @Cash In, this apparition was pretty good considering that Mars was low in the sky for viewers north of the Equator. The good news is that Mars will be much higher in the sky during its next closest approach in 2020. I am looking forward to that one! :ticking:

      @Cash In, he he, Mars is doing fine. It's apparent size and brightness is much lower, since it's moving away from us pretty fast. Planet season, with the exception of Uranus and Neptune, is pretty much over for 2018. It's long exposure astrophotography time. :)

    A little bit. I lift weights every other day. With the weather cooling down, I will soon start walking 2 miles every other morning.

    I'm not much into gardening, but I do enjoy growing fruit trees (peaches, plums, and figs at the moment) and evergreens. I love to eat fresh fruit from them and I love the smell of evergreen trees, especially the Arizona Cypress.

    Not very well. The only vehicle I could practice with was my mother's Ford F-150. I hated it tho. The clutch pedal was hard to press and the engine would stall easily if I didn't give it enough gas. Strangely, I've had no issues whatsoever with manual transmissions in the forklifts I've driven over the years.

    About every 6 weeks or so. I like my hair short, otherwise it will curl upward if I let it grow out.

    My back patio at night, where I can lay down and stargaze and relax my mind.

    I'm more of a visual/hands on learner. I can read about stuff, but I learn the most when I actually do it. It's why a lot of my skills were self taught.

    I did. I worked at a shop that did tractor repair. I already had experience in small engine repair, plus I enjoyed mechanic work. Things went ok for a while, but I began to have disagreements with the way things were ran in the shop. About 6 or so months later, I had that "gut" feeling that I just didn't belong there and came to the conclusion that I wasn't a good match. I left on good terms and don't regret it.

    12th grade for me. I had an automotive mechanics vocational course in the morning and only 3 classes at school, so I got out early.

    I would want a water bed with a chiller plumbed to it. I sleep best when it's cold and quiet.

    None for me.I can barely handle getting shots (though I've gotten better recently). I'm not a fan of having holes poked in me.

    The sky is transparent. Gonna go stargaze with my refractor telescope. No imaging gear, no electronics, just simply enjoy the beautiful sky.

      @Tacodidra, I almost fell asleep while laying on the patio. lol. Stargazing is quite relaxing.

      @DivineGlow1000, I think I paid around $310 for that telescope. It's a well made achromatic refractor with no plastic anywhere. Everything's metal, even the dust cap. :D

      The mount is about $200. It's an Explore Scientific Twilight I mount. Has slow motion controls too.
