      A decent number of observatories (usually smaller ones) do free open nights, you just show up, and the staff will just point the scope at anything interesting in view, and give little informal lectures/information tidbits on what you're looking at. Worth doing a google search for anything local to you to see if there's anything like that.

      I'd also recommend Elite Dangerous, Steve. Bit of a steep learning curve, but they went to town with the accuracy on scale/distances and physics, so it's a great way to see celestial objects up close in a more personal way than Space Engine (cuz you actually have a character/avatar, as opposed to just being a disembodied camera).

      @Stone Cold Steve Tuna I *want* to like KSP, but trying to make a truly unique and creative ship just goes to hell because the physics engine is still too wonky. Thus all I can seem to to is make a ship that *should* work in theory, and is pretty as hell, but flies like a dead fish taped to a brick -_-

      I'm a Saints fan, so of course I wasn't gonna root for the Failcons.  ^_^

      I'm pretty happy with my JVC XX series headphones. They're bass heavy. I might pick up a tube headphone amp just to see what it's like. 

      And it will give me some more tubes to play with on my tube tester  ^_^

      Very nice!! Ive got a Colt New Army don't know the year.. but its .44 back powder and with he conversion cylinder its .45 long colt. And yep same here...:yuck:

      The other is a original to the replica/modern one. I dont shoot it much dew to its age...but still shoots perfect:mlp_yeehaa:

      Mine are replicas. I'd love to have an original, tho. Old revolvers are elegant pieces of machinery.  :grin:

      My conversion cylinder is chambered in .45 colt, but I find myself shooting .45 Schofields more often. I reload both.

      @ChB, I agree. I like the way things are presented in a lot of these old videos. Makes it more interesting and easier to understand. I like the hands on approach with instruments and setups, as that is the best way I learn.
