    Does anyone else think Let's Make This Castle a Home sounds strangely similar to the final song in Encanto? The chorus especially would fit right into the song in Encanto. This isn't something that I thought about after a couple listens. I thought this during my first watch of Encanto.

    As far as I know, there hasn't been any topics about Community which confuses me since it's such a great show. I just got into it last year and I already love it. Those first couple seasons are classics. My favorite episode is Documentary Filmmaking: Redux. It's so hilarious from start to finish and I can watch it over and over again. But there's a bunch of other classic episodes: - Modern Warfare - Cooperative Calligraphy - Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas - A Fistful of Paintballs and For a Few Paintballs More - Remedial Chaos Theory - Regional Holiday Music - Digital Estate Planning I haven't gotten to seasons 5 and 6 yet.

    It's embarrassing, but the first fanfic I read was a Stendy South Park fic. I don't remember the name of it. My first MLP fanfic was this. I didn't know that FIMfiction was a thing so I started on fanfiction.net and went from oldest to newest. I did that with every fandom I got into at the time.

    It's the final season so of course it's controversial. It has to give every character some kind of wrap up episode and has to finish up a lot of arcs. Also Twilight becoming ruler of Equestria brings up a lot of the same controversy that Twilight becoming an alicorn did.

    This episode looks fantastic. I think the atmosphere carries this episode. It gives the whole episode a sense of tension even when the writing kinda sucks. There are a lot of individual shots that genuinely impressed me which is not common for this show. The camera usually doesn't do anything interesting outside of a couple visual gags. I especially love the shot of Twilight mentioning the organ and then the camera goes down, past Rarity and Fluttershy, to the organ, and then has Rainbow and Applejack run past. I still stand by season 4 being the best looking season of the show and this episode is one of the best examples. Also Rainbow Dash is a lesbian and it's great

    How about neither because Trixie is better than both of them. But if I have to choose between just Starlight and Sunset, I'd pick Sunset all the way.

    All Bottled Up is such a spiteful episode. The mane six act like robots who just spout random shit about friendship and get into no conflicts just so the episode can prop up Starlight. "Why would you want to watch these old boring characters when you can watch our new characters who actually get into conflicts. They're so much better and more interesting!" And there isn't even a punchline at the end. The mane six just come back and suggest going to the spa. They never find out what Starlight and Trixie did and Starlight and Trixie never find out what the mane six did. So what was the point? The song is funny on its own, but it also feels so insulting taken in context of the episode.

    + The comedy in general + Trixie + Discord + Chrysalis is badass - Starlight - Starlight - Episode is insanely contrived just so Starlight can save the day - Episode expecting me to care about Starlight after Every Little Thing She Does - Starlight - Thorax is boring - The awful new changeling designs - Did I mention how Starlight ruins the episode? I still don't like this episode because of Starlight. It would've been a million times better if it was just about Trixie and Discord. Or Trixie and Twilight. Or just any combination of characters that leaves out Starlight and Thorax.

    To Where and Back Again should've just been about Trixie and Discord. They carry the episode. And Trixie in general is amazing. She carries every episode she's in. The fake suns in Horse Play are amazing. I think the first Evil Enchantress is funnier than the second in Bridle Gossip. It's so awkward. And so many others.

    I think it sparked the same way most of the other background characters did. People found her interesting and built on it. She was sitting like a human which people found interesting. A popular story was written about Lyra and humans which boosted her popularity even further, making her one of the main background characters.

    Flutter Brutter. The episode is about trying to help someone with a tendency to sabotage themselves because of a fear of failure. That's pretty serious and it's not exactly sugarcoated. The episode implies that if Rainbow and Fluttershy didn't help him, Zephyr would've died in the forest.

    This is probably the most famous Twixie story for good reason. The magic show at the end is amazing and the kiss might the just be the most satisfying in any fic I've ever read.     It's safe to say that my opinions have changed a lot over the past 3 years, but I'll just mention the big stuff 1. I used to love Starlight. Now I hate her 2. Pinkie used to be my least favorite of the mane six. Now she's one of my favorites 3. I used to love The Mysterious Mare Do Well. Now I think it's just meh 4. I used to have an extreme hatred of The Mane Attraction. I still don't like it, but I don't hate it 5. I used to dislike season 6. Now I like it 6. TwiPie is now my favorite ship instead of RariJack. Hell, I might actually prefer Twixie to RariJack

    This thread has aged very well. I hope AppleDash fans are happy even though RariJack would've made much more sense... not that I'm bitter or anything.

    I did not expect liking Trixie as much as I do now. I was pretty neutral about her before, but I like her the more I think about her. Everything from her design to her voice to her personality works for me. She did lose a lot of her appeal once she became Starlight's sidekick, but she was probably the only consistently funny character in the last couple seasons so I guess even that's not too bad.

    This has always been an ensemble show. Even in the early seasons I wouldn't say Twilight was the main character. Every season at least tried to balance the episode focus between all of the mane six, Spike, and then the new guys later on. Yeah Twilight was in every episode in season 1, but she had very minor roles in some of those episodes or co-starred with some other characters.
