      @Califorum Calculus itself isn't necessarily required, but a math class is required every year at my school. If you took Algebra 1 in 8th grade (which I did), then your high school math classes would be Geometry -> Algebra 2 -> Pre-Calc -> Calculus. If you took Algebra 1 in 9th grade, then you would stop at Pre-Calc.

      That is really interesting. They only require a math and science class for 3 years of high school. I took 8th grade math in 8th grade, so you were a year a head of me. Pre-calc was optional for those who wantedi t as well as calculus which would be a college class.
