It's a shame how great drivers can end up without a seat... It's also sad how no one seems to be considering George Russell for a seat – he's been great in F2 this season (beating Norris who's rated very highly). And while I don't think anyone on the current grid is really out of place, I still wonder how many drivers from other series could do better than some of the backmarkers if they were given a chance. Rossi never got another chance after the few races he did at Manor, Lotterer was good on his one-off for Caterham (though he was already pretty old for F1 at that point)... Maybe there are a lot of potential stars who didn't even get that one chance to prove themselves...
