@Treeglow Flicker  Just out of curiosity, how big are these spiders? 

@Princess of Luck 🍀⚡🔥 I get the really large house spiders from time to time.

Most nights, I sit in my room in the pitch black in front of my computer screen. There's actually a lamp on my desk just to the right of me. I had a house spider the literal size of my hand (including the leg span, obviously) appear on the lampshade. For someone who is terrified of spiders like me, that is not a welcome sight coming at you. I had to throw a tupperware box over the top of it just to catch it once it got on the floor.. That thing was way too big and way to fast to get inside a pint glass. It took literally a second for it to run from one side of my room to the next.

I had the cold shivers for a good couple of hours after that encounter.

I'll spoiler it. But these are the critters that I encounter. I'm not bad with smaller spiders. But my phobia still acts up really badly around these. And because I don't allow myself to kill living creatures, I'm kind of honor bound to catch it and put it outside where it can survive. Always bloody nerve wracking.

I know there are far more intimidating spiders out there than the one in the spoiler. But they still give me the creeps. Luckily, they are harmless and only bite if really really provoked. I had one appear on my elbow out in the utility room once.
