    I think education should be mandatory, but there should be far less required classes, especially in high school. The majority of classes should be electives tailored to the individual student's interests and future plans. If that were the case, I think the teens and young adults of today would be more motivated and less burned out. I also think the current school system lasts a year longer than it needs to. By the end of 11th grade, you've already taken all of the main required courses, and it's kind of ridiculous to be a legal adult and still required to be in high school. Of course, maybe that's influenced by the fact that 12th grade for me was ruined by the pandemic, but I still think my point stands.

      At my hometown’s high school, I’m pretty sure there’s a huge mural of words describing the very serious medical condition of senioritis. :umad: It’s quite contagious.

    Unpopular opinion: I do not like Bluetooth earbuds, or any wireless earbuds for that matter. Connecting them to a device is a huge pain, charging them is a huge pain, and then sometimes they randomly stop working for whatever reason.

    I'm going to always use wired headphones until the day I die. They're just easier and more comfortable.

      I never tried wireless earbuds and I don't plan to either, they are too expensive. Maybe if I suddenly won 1 million dollars I might get them though. ^_^

      Everyone in my family bar myself and my Dad have wireless Bluetooths. We're both quite old-fashioned and I use headphones that are completely wired. I don't want wireless earbuds because I don't really like them, plus I don't know how Bluetooth works. :twismile:

    I've always liked odd numbers more than even numbers. Odd numbers just look and sound cooler to me, and I like having the opposite preference to most other people. :D

    Same here! She was my least favorite main character when I started watching, but now she's one of my favorites.

    Well, I just failed my road test, and to be honest, I'm probably not going to try again. My area has enough public transportation that having a driver's license isn't a necessity. It is quite simply more trouble than it's worth.

    Did anyone else find that their online and offline lives sort of blended together during this past year? Mine did because for a while, there was really nothing to do in real life due to the pandemic and all that. I imagine that once I start going out and doing stuff more this summer, my online and offline lives will begin to separate again.

    As I predicted yesterday, that was an exciting race! :sassy:

    • Dominant performance from Verstappen today - he got a great start and never looked back! Hamilton gave him a good challenge early on, but then made a mistake.
    • Great drive by Norris too! Holding off Hamilton for that long was really impressive, and he certainly made up for yesterday's disappointment.
    • It's a shame that Perez spun off toward the end, he was on for a solid result.
    • Bottas's pace was terrible today, but the crash was 100% Russell's fault. Bottas left him enough room, he didn't need to go onto the grass.

      But yeah, overall a good race. Certainly looking good for the rest of the season, though it's early days yet. :twi:
