      I always considered Star Trek better to Star Wars. I was never really into Star Wars, except during 10th grade I was really into it because of my friend group in those days.

    Well, bad news. I don't know of anyone reading this status cares, but... there will be no new chapter of "Harmonic Blue Skies" this weekend.

    Chapter 14 was supposed to be about Lyra's birthday and Sky finding a gift for her. I spent much of today working on the chapter, and I was nearly done and ready to publish it tomorrow. But then I looked back on the chapter... and I realized that it sucked. It was uninteresting to read and it had been a chore to write. So I've scrapped that chapter, and cut a few lines from chapter 13 so that Lyra's birthday isn't mentioned at all. I won't get back to this story until next month at the earliest.

    Lyra can play the lyre and the harp, but not the guitar. Her singing voice is beautiful, but mine is terrible. No, that's not possible. Timmy is fictional, but Twilight is very much real. My music preferences are sort of all over the place, though one musical artist that I really enjoy is Owl City. (Can you please stop bombarding me with questions? No offense, but I think you've asked me enough.)

    I visited the oral surgeon today. He told me that the sliver of jawbone in my mouth is not an abnormal growth. It's just a small part that was exposed when my wisdom teeth were removed, and my lower gum hasn't finished growing back over it yet. Nothing needs to be removed, so that's a relief. :twi:

    It hasn't caused me any pain today or yesterday, so it can't have been the reason my teeth hurt on Monday. Sometimes aches and pains just pop up for no reason, and then go away quickly.

    Yes, sometimes we eat instant ramen. I've been there once, but the milkshake I got didn't taste very good. And it's not exactly health food, so I probably won't go back again. Of course we do! Who doesn't?

    My favorite piece of MLP merchandise is my Lyra plushie. She's so soft and huggable! I haven't quite decided what music I'll play at my wedding with Sky Scraper (the handsome blue stallion in the pic below ). I'll probably write an original harp or lyre symphony with a relaxing, romantic vibe to it.

    I've never watched G3, but I do know about Minty. If she was more prominent in G4, she and Lyra could be sisters! Nope, can't say we have.

    I looked in the mirror with a flashlight. I think a tiny piece of my jawbone is protruding through my lower gum, near the spot where one of my wisdom teeth used to be. Perhaps this is why my teeth felt sore earlier. :yeahno:

      My even older half-brother had that happen many years ago. He thought it was a broken tooth and tried to pull it out numerous times before visiting the dentist where he learned that it was part of his jaw.

      @RaraLover I guess I just kind of lost interest in keeping up with MLP stuff around mid-2019, since I didn't like the direction that the final seasons of the show were taking. :mellow:

      I might check out the special at some point, though. There's also a couple of Equestria Girls specials I've yet to see. :mlp_icwudt:

      @LyraLover I understand. I do agree that the last few seasons went a bit downhill for the show. :sunny: Some of the episodes just didn't appeal to me either. :unamused: But yeah, some of the specials are definitely worth a watch! ^_^ Maybe G5 will give us a few surprises to make up for the last few seasons of G4. :ooh:

      Kerfuffle is adorable! ^_^ "Rainbow Roadtrip" introduced some very nice new ponies, my favorite being Petunia Petals (Kerfuffle being the runner-up, of course). :wub: It would have been lovely to see them make another appearance.
