    Good afternoon, everypony! As of today, I am 18 years old and officially a legal adult! :kirin:

    I started my day off in the best way possible, with a confetti cupcake for breakfast. :squee::nom:

      Just be glad you're not celebrating adulthood with my family. They'd probably temp you into drinking booze or something.

      ...Not that there is anything wrong with that! But it gets annoying if you really have no interest in drinking anything alcoholic.

    Good morning, everypony! :grin:

    My actual birthday is tomorrow, but I'm celebrating today since restaurants are more likely to be open for takeout today (since tomorrow is Columbus Day).

    I got a whole bunch of drawing supplies as gifts (a new set of 30 colored pencils, two foam erasers, an eraser dust cleaner and a new sketchbook), and my 1980s Lyra T-shirt arrived in the mail today! It wasn't a late birthday gift after all! :arethosehands:

    I can't wait to have a special birthday lunch and confetti cake this afternoon! :ticking:

    Oh, and I just noticed I won the day yesterday! Wasn't expecting that! :SassySaddles2:

      @LyraLover 💚  Man I found it I'd say around now in 2011.  I can never pinpoint specifically when other than 2011.  Someone reblogged winter wrap up song on Tumblr, I watched it, immediately saw Dashie come on the spotlight, and just knew I had to go watch the show. :ph3ar:  

      @Midnight Danny  While I do understand the feeling of wanting to have discovered something earlier cause it's a feeling all of us get when we feel we found something awesome a little late, it's never to late too get involved! :mlp_icwudt:

      For me, I personally wish I had gotten involved in the fandom more than I did when I did first discover it. 

      That said I'm having more fun with the fandom now than I did back then.  I think it's because I know now that the show is over, the one's who are still here are the ones who are truly dedicated and really thought it was something special just like me.
