Another problem for me is that while the comedic approach can work well, it ignores the rest of what made FIM so great – the emotion, the more adventure-oriented episodes... Pony Life being targeted at younger audiences also really shows in some segments ("The Mysterious Voice" having one of the most predictable stories comes to mind).

I doubt anything can match FIM for me, but I hope G5 is good.

@Tacodidra FiM was so much more than just another cartoon. It had developed characters, crisp animation, meaningful continuity, and powerful morals.  Those are the things that Pony Life is missing, and those are the things that I hope to see return in G5. 

So that's where warm weather gone from me
