  1. I still play Animal Crossing. I played on the GameCube, the Wii, the DS, and now the 3ds. So many trees shaken... so many rocks repeatedly hit... so many fish... all the fish... literally mountains of fish rotting in tom nook's storehouse. In all seriousness though, that game really did leave an impact on my life for the better. As a children, my siblings and I would play animal crossing on the GameCube, all sharing the same town, and even exchanged real-life favors (such as doing each-other's chores) for bells [the in-game currency]. Despite only one of us being able to play at a time, we all gained an immense amount of joy from simply watching our combined wealth grow and grow, one rare fish at a time.
  2. It's not an episode. It's just a music video that was supposed to be 'tied' to the episode. Trust me; You won't be spoiling any of "Spring Breakdown" by watching the music video.
  3. If this was originally meant to be in Spring Breakdown... man... I guess every light casts a shadow....
  4. I know Equestria Girls has often received the short-end of the stick when it comes to music, but I personally feel like this latest song is an all-time low. They use an air horn in a pandering 'meme' way, and the only character who can really rap is Pinky Pie. This is just my own biased opinion though. I am curious to know what your thoughts on the song are.
  5. Very nice video. I will admit, that it is quite nice too see all these wonderful people represented here. I only recognized a few faces, but that only helps me to realize how much more content there is for me to explore.
  6. Oh she knows. She's just too awesome to acknowledge it.
  7. I can't vote yet... but I can still offer my cheers for team Dash *cough* I mean "Cloudsdale" ... yeah... totally not having my vote swayed by one specific pony.
  8. It took me a bit to identify your picture... Your username was a pretty good clue. That's Soarin, right? I like the filters you applied. Also, Soarin's a wonderbolt, and RD is a wonderbolt, therefore, I approve entirely. 8.8/10
  9. Tales Memoir *=========* Bookstore Attic | / 🌞 ) | Ponyville, Equestria | ( 🌒 / | *=========* Rainbow Dash Cloudominium over Ponyville Cloudsdale, Equestria NOTE: Mailman, please wear the attached shades when delivering this letter. Thank you. Hey Rainbow Dash, I know you were a huge fan of the Wonderbolts before you joined their ranks, but which Wonderbolt was your favorite? Now that you are a Wonderbolt, do you race each other regularly? I would love to hear more about your experiences with the Wonderbolts. - A reader of your adventures, Tales Memoir P.S. What did you think of the mailman when you saw them? I was hoping I could liven up the mail delivery, since I know it's not usually up to your coolness requirements.
  10. While I most certainly understand an aversion to 3d animation, I think it is rather unfair to judge the abilities of an animation studio based on the abilities of fans. There are countless 3d models of Disney characters that look like nightmare fuel, but that doesn't mean that 3d can't look amazing.
  11. Thanks! I just got started with the first few episodes, and am falling in love already. I guess starting from the beginning makes quite a bit of a difference (The episodes I had seen before were usually quite... random... scenes. I'm so excited to watch the rest of the show. Now I guess I face the same dilemma I had with the furry fandom: Finding a place to view stuff without being teased. Thanks for the encouragement. I will admit, the episode count is quite high. I've toughed out Naruto and One Piece, so I should be able to manage the binge. XD Besides, if they are anywhere as good as the first 3 episodes so far, it should be a smooth ride. Thank you for the warm welcome! I really appreciate it. Thanks for the break-down! It's nice to know where all the different media fits into the timeline. I'm sure I'll butcher the ordering anyways, but I really appreciate your help!
  12. Hi! I just want to get this out of the way; I have yet to seriously watch any season of My Little Pony. I have watched a few episodes here and there, but until recently, I figured I would just keep my distance. After looking into it some more, I can't help but resonate with central themes and values in both the show and community. I came here so that I could possibly get to know some of the community from an inside perspective. My previous exposure to the fandom mostly stemmed from the Furry community. Through the many content creators in that community, I eventually discovered "Crowne Prince". She featured a video a called "Is it real?" which, despite it's message, showed to me how much the Brony community has in common with my favorite aspects of the furry fandom. As I prefaced my introduction with, I haven't watched any cohesive season of MLP. What would you recommend I start with? MLP:FiM, or some of the films? Are there any areas of filler content I should avoid if I choose to binge?
