    I changed my location to Canterlot because Celestia and Luna asked me to move in with them and of course, I said yes! :ticking:

      maybe if we asked the Tree nicely, it would grow a new ponyville castle for them? I can't imagine anypony not choosing Ponyville to retire to :)

      Oooo I guess it was just better for Twilight to rule at Canterlot since it was already a huge city with many transport links. It would be too much hassle making Ponyville fit to be a capital and I'm sure that the residents of Ponyville just wanted it to stay as a quaint little villaige
