Hello everyone. I am just a simple person from Texas. How I discovered My little pony is a bit of a tale. Like almost everyone else in the world I manage to run into it's content a few times (if you are on the internet how could you not?) and for the most part I dismiss it. I didn't hate it I just didn't understand what all the fuss was about. Basiclly I judge a book by it's cover and now I truly wish I didn't. Roughly over 2 years ago, I was struck with a serious medical condition that all but destroyed my life. I had to basiclly become a hermit for almost all of that time and this resulted in me going into a deep depression. A friend of mine a (closeted) brony actually convinced me to watch the series and see what the fandom had to offer and let me tell you that was one of the best decision I ever made in my life. Watching the series and watching this community trive regardless of age, what you all can create and achive, let's just say that it got me through that very dark chapter in my life. I honestly don't know where I be if it wasn't for this franshise. So in advance, I want to thank you all truly. I came here because I want to be a more active member in the community and try to give something back, especially, since it has help me during my dark time. I want to have friends who are part of the Brony Community. I wish to talk and share opinions on the main show and it's expansions Equestria girls, comics etc. I know almost all of my rl friends would frown upon me being a Brony but that won't stop me from being one and I look forward to making friends who share my interests. I have even recently created a youtube channel with a friend for that purpose. (In accordance with the site rules. I posted the link to said channel in my Profile or at least I am trying too since it say I am not allowed to edit my own profile. would at least like to put up a proper picture.) I hope if you all have a few moments to spare you will at least check it out and give me your thoughts and please don't hesitate to tell me where I need imporvment. (I know I am terrible but having fun is the most imporant right?) Also just know that they are just characters I mostly play. If you want my real opinions feel free to ask me. Also please be patience with me. It has been years since I have been on any king of forum proper and I have admit at first glance this place seems a bit intimidating but hopfully I will be able to navigate smoothly soon.
