This was a fun episode  It's a shame that all episodes of Tell Your Tale aren't 22 minutes long like this. Izzy was particularly adorable in this.  Some nice new songs in this episode too. I look forward to hearing the full length versions when they become available.

I hope the next one of these 22 minute specials is focused on Sunny. Ever since the movie she seems to be getting less and less screen time and she was originally the main character of this generation.

In addition to what I said above, if we're going to include non-pony characters, then Spike is my favourite from generation 1.

I find him really cute mostly because of that voice Charlie Adler gives him.

My favourite seems to change every so often but right now I'd have to say it's Sunny - even though she doesn't have much of a personality anymore.

This was a sweet episode and a nice new song too.

Rocky and Jazz always seemed like an obvious romantic pairing but I never thought the writers would actually go there, but I'm glad they did.  Romantic attraction between characters is really rare in generation 5. I think I'm right that the only other example of this in gen 5 is Queen Haven and Alphabittle.

That's Three's a Crowd...season 4 episode 11

It was the usual fast-moving nonsense. Entertaining enough. It would have been funnier if Posie had been complaining about the lack of icing on her cupcake prior to all the icing falling on her, not the other way round.

That hole that the dragon made in the brighthouse...how did it get sealed up again? It appeared to be done with magic but whose magic? 

I've been watching generation 1 lately for the first time. My favourite so far is Gusty, mostly because of her voice.

I hope this is going to be a good year for Pony.

I'm happy enough with it. I think I like it better than I expected to but the lack of continuity with Make Your Mark is a problem. Some episodes (actually very few of them) show that the writers sometimes have a real mastery of the five minute format. My Bananas and The Game is Ahoof are the best examples of this. Most other episodes are just a lot of high-speed slapstick and nonsense designed to keep young children with short attention spans entertained for five minutes. But that's all right. It's just nice to have some new Pony to look forward to every week or every two weeks.

I'm and Izzy fan. I mean she's not my favourite character from generation 5 (that would have to be Sunny) but I really like Izzy too.

I'd just finished rewatching Hearth's Warming Eve from Friendship is Magic for the umpteenth time then put this on, saw the gen 5 ponies about to put on a show and thought "My god, this is exactly what the FiM ponies were just doing!"

This episode was the usual entertaining super-fast slapstick. Just what I've come to expect from Tell Your Tale. Shame about the fart humour again. The ending was a nice twist though.

I totally love animated colourful ponies!

Mine too. There are just too many inconsistencies between generations 4 and 5.

After watching Make Your Mark chapter 6 I've finally decided that I can no longer consider gen 5 to be a continuation of Friendship is Magic. I regard it more like the comics now: something non-canon.

I'm about halfway through generation 1 now. It's still watchable but also pretty lame to be frank. There's no way a cartoon this quaint would be made today. I also struggle to keep up with who is who. There are so many ponies and none seem to have any distinguishing personality traits. And they all just seem to come and go. Spike seems to have vanished by this point and the G1 Applejack is only in one episode.

Every time I heard Gusty speak I kept thinking 'where have I heard that voice before?' So I looked up her voice actress and it's Nancy Cartwright who does the voice of Bart Simpson.

By the way...remember those three G1 screenshots that appeared on a TV screen in the 2021 A New Generation movie? If you were wondering where they were from....One of them is taken from the opening titles of the 1986–1987 series and the other two are from the same series in the the episode The Ghost of Paradise Estate Part 1

As for the continuity errors...aren't they just par for the course for Tell Your Tale and generation 5 in general?

I'm feeling pretty good. I've got a lot to do......including watching the latest Tell Your Tale episode which I intend to do very soon.
