    I have to say, I'm pretty excited about this special. And it's been too long since we got some new Make Your Mark.

    You don't see a vocal performance. You hear it. And Sani's performance as Izzy is fantastic - full of life and displaying a great vocal dexterity. Sani obviously has a lot of fun voicing Izzy and that enthusiasm comes across in her performance. Kimiko Glenn was great too, but I feel that Ana Sani's voice fits the character better.

    I love the song A Friend For Life which plays at the end of the first Equestria Girls movie. It's so perfect for the end of the movie.

    She was constantly angry but I never found her scary - not like Sombra and Tirek. Those two were very sinister. At first anyway. Chysalis especially in seasons 8 and 9 seemed more of a comedic villain at times.

    I think (and hope) she'll be a mixture of both silly and threatening like Queen Chrysalis.

    I liked this one a lot. I never thought we'd get a episode focused on Opaline, but this was great. And we finally got to hear that song in the series after it was released early online. And nice to see Misty hanging around with the others.

    Also Senor Butterscotch appeared in Tell Your Tale first. I've always considered Tell Your Tale to be cannon with Make Your Mark. Though there have been some serious continuity issues between the two, which I find a problem.

    I thought it was all right, nothing special, I didn't even find the song catchy like some of the previous generation 5 songs we've heard. A shame we got yet more Sparky flatulence humour. I'm guessing this is going to be a reoccurring theme now for the rest of eternity.

    Thinking about generation 5 and the things I like about it and the things that concern me about it.

    Pipp's getting a lot of screen time in these Tell Your Tale episodes and as a result she's becoming one of my favourite gen 5 characters! Maybe my favourite. This was a pretty standard (and good) episode for Tell Your Tale - a lot of fast-moving fun with a bit of slapstick thrown in here and there.
