    anybody got some good minecraft mods for a newbie like me?

      Depends on what you want.

      For one mod, you got to have the Liteloader Client, to run Mine Little Pony :3

      Then you got optifine for fps boosting

      Then you have rei's minimap

      Too many items

      And that's the 4 I know that are used commonly. MLP Mod is an exception since it's usually used by bronies.
