Early Sunsets

After a few failed attempts, I finished the first successful hair weft for my Rarity fursuit. One down, six to go (or more if I decide it's too thin once they're all attached). After that I have the rear part of her mane to make, which is going to take even more time. Those wefts need to be about three times as wide and I'll need to make two times as many, since the hair I have isn't long enough to fold in half for the rear portion of her mane.

Oh boy, I hope choosing to make her mane out of synthetic hair instead of foam and faux fur won't turn out to be a huge waste of time. It took me half an hour to make and straighten this one weft. The length doesn't come across in the picture; it's just over two feet long and about three and a half inches wide.
