Favorite fruit and/or vegetable?
Early Sunsets replied to Thundershock's topic in General Discussion
I really like strawberries, but some types of apples are good, too. Oh, and a (not mushy) watermelon. -
Mine changes every few weeks - right now it's this.

What Is The Most Severe Weather That You Have Experienced?
Early Sunsets replied to EpicEnergy's topic in General Discussion
We had a derecho roll through a while ago (2012? 2013? I can't remember). It snapped trees like they were twigs and knocked out power for weeks, even a month for some areas. It also happened to be the hottest time of the year. Luckily someone on our street had some friends in the power company, and they got our power restored in a week. -
What is or was your favorite subjects in school?
Early Sunsets replied to Nah's topic in General Discussion
Band is the one class I ever found fun, but math and science were alright. Not that difficult, and they could occasionally be interesting. Physics labs were especially cool.- 252 replies

Foreign language was ass. Too much memorizing things that sounded similar. Same with government and history, but at least history was mildly interesting. The dates all really blended together, though.

What Is The Heaviest Thing You've Ever Lifted?
Early Sunsets replied to Denim&Venöm's topic in General Discussion
By myself, ~140 pounds. At my work we often get really heavy packages. We're supposed to get help lifting anything heavy, and we're supposed to use a pallet jack for packages over 150 pounds, but we never do. Too much of a hassle. I've also "lifted" my motorcycle, but not off the ground. I just stood it back up after it fell over. It's about 380 pounds wet, but with the right leverage it's easy to stand up. -

If You Could Have One Wish, What Would You Wish For?
Early Sunsets replied to best poni's topic in General Discussion
Probably for a tax-exempt gift of $1 million. That would solve all my issues and set me up for life. I know, kind of selfish when you could wish for literally anything. But I just want to live comfortably. Life's too complex and unrewarding for me to give a damn about much else. -
Why do some people think life is meaningless?
Early Sunsets replied to heavens-champion's topic in General Discussion
Mostly because it kind of is. Life is just us endlessly chasing happiness, and only a few people actually achieve it for more than a short while. It's pretty much just survival with brief, infrequent moments of warmth. -
I've got a few. One on my ear from where I hit my head on a table after my sister accidentally tripped me (I think I was 5 at the time), one on the back of my right index finger from where I brushed against the bulb of my desk lamp as a kid, three small ones on my abdomen from when my appendix got taken out, one on my arm from when I fell off my bicycle, a bunch of horizontal marks on my back that I think are stretch marks (no clue how I got those, I've been thin my whole life so it's not from fat), and I'm missing the tips of two fingers; I took off a chunk of my left middle finger using a table saw a while back, and more recently I cut off a small piece of my left index finger with an X-Acto knife. I'm pretty clumsy, lol.

Do you Like where you live? Why?
Early Sunsets replied to Green Precision's topic in General Discussion
It's meh. A little crowded for my taste, but I like the mountains nearby and the people are (mostly) nice. Hopefully soon I'll be able to move to a more rural part of Virginia, or maybe Pennsylvania. -

Early Sunsets replied to Blue Moon's topic in Media Discussion
Vylet's music is really hit or miss for me. Either I don't like the song at all, or I listen to it on repeat for the next week. -

Early Sunsets replied to Reecejackox's topic in General Discussion
I had a bowl cut as a child. I'm not proud of it. -
Sometimes. Every now and then my parents used to make eggs, bacon, and a cinnamon nutmeg breakfast cake for dinner.

About 65. High 50's is nice if I feel like wearing a hoodie.

What is something you really want to do, but can't stick to?
Early Sunsets replied to Wubsie's topic in General Discussion
Guitar. It's really hard to find the time to practice with my current work schedule. Maybe someday when things calm down a bit. -
I mean, knife wounds can easily be deadly, but gunshot wounds are way worse. Some calibers will remove limbs if it hits bone. Not to mention non-fatal knife wounds heal way better.
