  1. First white Christmas we've had in years, maybe even since I was in middle school.

Also a deer photobombed the picture, so there's that.

Man, I don't know why I've never used my phone's low light camera before. It's actually pretty damn good. The regular camera would be all black except for the light bulb on the street lamp.

      Dude what

That deer barely moved in seven hours.

According to my parents this is the first white Christmas we've had in about fifteen years. Man, living in the south sucks.

  2. Sideways Really, though. My scooter fits sideways in parking spaces. Since the shopping cart returns at the local grocery store take up most of two parking spaces, it leaves the perfect amount of room to fit my scooter in, and acts as a convenient anchor point for the security chain. It also ensures there will always be an open space for me when I go grocery shopping, which is nice.
  3. Happy birthday!

      Thank you alot!

  4. If I had to guess, I'm around 1,000 hours played in Terraria and World of Tanks. I really have no way to gauge that since those hours are across multiple accounts and platforms, many of which don't track play time, but that seems about right. I know I have about 400 hours in Terraria on PC, and if I had to guess, I have at least that many on console, considering the long hours I'd spend playing with my friends. As for World of Tanks I have close to 10k games played across my accounts, and I'd imagine that translates to well over 1,000 hours. Skyrim and CoD:Black Ops 2 multiplayer are my next most played games. I think both are in the 500 to 600 hour range, basically all of which was played on my Xbox 360 back in middle and high school.
  5. Yeah, I'd say so. I partially blame MLP for that, and partially my mom. Me, my sister, and my dad would always laugh at my mom for crying during movies, but fast-forward to recent years and every time without fail, we cry at the same scenes (the Christmas movies Klaus and Silent Night come to mind). That didn't start happening until after I begun watching MLP. At the same time, I also love gore, tattoos, and piercings, I almost exclusively wear dark colors, I ride motorcycles (well, I will when safety courses open back up), and I have a severe case of resting bitch face that has on a few occasions scared people off. Give it a few years and I'll be that gruff biker covered in tattoos and wearing a bunch of leather and metal who walks into PetSmart to pick up a little fluffy bed for their kitten.
  6. Because the world we live in is cruel and unjust. Really it just comes down to luck in most cases, and anyone can have bad luck.
  7. A little annoyed. I dropped my scooter in the parking lot today and smashed the headlight off. Thankfully it seems salvageable, so I glued and taped it back together tonight and I'm gonna try reattaching it tomorrow. Also kind of bad. I had to tape the headlight back on as best I could to drive home, but the angle was way too high, so I probably blinded quite a few people on my way home. The new LED bulb I put in last week is pretty damn bright Sorry anyone who was driving in the opposite direction.
  8. I'll Fly from Tanks for the Memories.
  9. Does anyone know what Octavia's accent is from Helluva Boss? I'm probably gonna anger most of the UK by saying this, but sometimes she sounds English and other times she sounds Scottish. Is it supposed to be a northern England accent or something?

On the topic of accents, what's Mrs. Cake's? I've never heard anyone speak like her.

I was thinking that too. I thought Mrs. Cakes accent was from the south

I thought it might be a very exaggerated midwest or Canadian accent, but I have no idea.

  10. For me, it's Pewdiepie. I could never understand the appeal to his content.
  11. This is and will probably always be one of my favorites. It's lot more somber than your typical Christmas music. Hits pretty damn hard. I also love My Chemical Romance's cover of this song. The song itself is okay, I think it's solely because I love Gerard's voice. Oh, and how did I forget about Dasher? It basically takes the best things from the last two songs, namely a more somber tone and Gerard's beautiful voice.
  12. Mostly punk rock and emo rock, though I have been getting into metal lately. Swedish rock and metal are pretty cool, too. Currently my favorite bands / artists are; My Chemical Romance Pierce the Veil Falling in Reverse Sleeping with Sirens Sabaton Princewhateverer
  13. A number of times at jokes that are questionable, at best. The most inappropriate time I'll share is the time I laughed when my ex had a severe asthma attack at band camp (severe-ish. Not like, lethal levels of severe, but enough to put her out of commission for the rest of the day). In my defense, she's a bitch.
  14. Our laundry room is kind of spooky, full of bugs, and doesn't have insulation. Same with our garage, which is more of a workshop with unnecessarily large doors. If you tried to park a car in it I guarantee you'd fall through the floor.
  15. I've been dreaming of moving out on my own for literal years now. Every once in a while I'll just go window shopping on Zillow to see what's available, even though I don't have a hope of being able to afford a house yet. It's gotta be close enough to the city that I can get to work easily, but far enough that I can actually get some privacy. If I can see another house while standing on my front or back porch, it's too crowded (though for a first house, I'm willing to be a little less picky). Also has to be large enough to work from, and in my budget (will probably be somewhere between 60k and 75k. Obviously any house of that size in that price range will have problems, so I'd need to be careful and make sure it's stuff I can fix). With any luck, I'll be living on my own in less than a year. My dream house is that, just on steroids. In ten or twenty years or however long, I want to move to the Rocky Mountains in Montana, in a 1,500~2,000 square foot home (the vast majority of that space would be used for work, which means I'd get a huge tax write-off. Everyone loves lower taxes) with not another soul in sight, yet still within a ten to twenty minute drive of civilization. Preferably a town, not a city. As long as it's got a post office and a grocery store, that's all I need.
  16. Alduin in Skyrim. All that buildup to an intense and epic fight, and in the end he's about as challenging to defeat as a 1x1 Rubik's cube.
  17. The same red as my OC's. I'd do it, but it's just too much of a nuisance for me to want to bother with.
  18. My particular area, no. It has a fairly low crime rate, and downtown is incredibly peaceful. I'd even feel safe walking through town in the middle of the night. It kind of has a "small, old midwest town" kind of vibe. If you go a little bit east to the city, however, then things get a bit spookier (yes, I technically live in the city, but I did all of my growing up in the next town over, so I don't consider the city my home. City limits are literally one street from mine). The schools usually get at least one bomb or shooting threat each year (though from what I heard, none of them actually happened), there are a lot more serious crimes (assault, murder, etc.), it's had a lot of severe drug problems over the years, and the crime rate is double the national average. I actually just now discovered it's got a higher crime rate than Norfolk VA, which terrified me during my year of college there. Safe to say I don't want to be in the city after dark.
  19. Between my new job and riding my moped everywhere I'm in the cold for over four hours a day, and it's been wreaking havoc on my hands the past couple weeks, to the point where it physically hurts. I bought some dry skin lotion recently, which has been helping. Still a little dry, but it's not cracked an painful anymore.
  20. High school marching band, doing dumb shit with friends, and going to conventions. I graduated years ago, lost contact with the friends I used to mess around with at the same time, and conventions aren't happening any time soon, so, uh, yeah. Things are going great. Hopefully those covid vaccines get released in time for cons to open back up next summer.
  21. Apple and pumpkin pies are the best, especially with whipped cream. I also tried making cinnamon-butterscotch pie from Undertale a couple times, and it's actually really good, though it takes a bit of effort. Looks a lot like pumpkin pie.
  22. Things stabbing someone's eye. Just thinking about that sets my teeth on edge.
