  1. Now that more time has passed, I'm actually a bit anxious about getting this. It's unlikely I'll have any problems but I am in a class of people who have an increased risk of death. Let's hear it for having a heart problem. ugh.
  2. The Earth is already improving now that people aren't selfishly polluting it every single day. That's a global benefit! Personally, working from home has been glorious. Not driving an hour to the office is the best.
  3. No. Coffee is disgusting. I have never had it once, nor do I need it. I have a bit of caffeinated soda instead then go to water.
  4. Can't be aired on television. TV-MA ain't enough for my life...
  5. It's new and they don't understand it. It feels foreign to them and they can't just "get caught up." Change is so rapid that they can't be bothered. I'm sure, at some point, many of us will be that way. I try not to be but sometimes, I catch myself thinking about "how we used to do it and how it was good enough."
  6. Haven't used a prebuilt since... uh... 2002? Maybe 2003? Somewhere in there. Built my own since then.
  7. Actually... nothing. I don't go out anyway so nothing changes. I can work from home now and I just run to the store and back. I guess being an introvert finally comes in handy.
  8. I'm first shift where I work but there's 8 to 5 or 9 to 6 so there's not much choice in the matter. Personally, I much prefer a later shift but I don't have that option sadly. It would be nice, however, to be officially titled as "web developer" instead of it not being recognized. But alas, that's what happens when people bail without much notice. I pick up the slack and get fucked in the process. Beyond that, I work for a pleasant small company in Kansas. Not the best pay but they're trans-positive and my coworkers are absolutely fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better team!
  9. Not counting the first two I had right out of high school, I've had four. I washed cars, inspected cars, did phone tech support and am currently a web dev.
  10. Barring places I went on specifically to get banned, I haven't been very often. I did manage to get myself account banned from a modding community I still frequent about half a dozen times. That was... an interesting time.
  11. Things that irritate me the most are people not taking it seriously enough and people overreacting and panic buying FUCKING EVERYTHING. People whining about events being cancelled because of a pandemic are gratingly obnoxious, and people acting like "it's not big deal" are equally infuriating. This is serious. Be smart and stop being idiots!
  12. I had a few small ones broken in my hand when I got it slammed in a car door. It was excruciating.
  13. I only have a few. I keep Sweetie Belle and Vinyl Scratch on my bed with me but I also have alicorn Twilight Sparkle, Applejack and Octavia. I have to cuddle my Sweetie Belle every night. She keeps me calm.
  14. Maybe it's changed there but the attitudes I mentioned are still quite prevalent in many parts of the United States. It is starting to change but it's a slow process and there is a slight resistance to that change. Regardless, it's still a prevalent attitude in many places.
  15. Bananas get the top spot but I do love apples and pears too.
  16. Toxic masculinity is a very real thing, but not in the way that most people think. Genuine toxic masculinity is the expectations placed on men and boys that are detrimental to their health and well-being. Things like not showing emotion or must be independent at all times. No matter how damaging they might be, the expectation is there. And that... is incredibly toxic.
  17. Oh hell naw, fam. This is not my jam. That being said, if my mom or dad were to ask me to be there for them, I would gladly go.
  18. I don't really have one. I'm one of those sleepers who tosses and turns all night because I have fucking insomnia. My preferred is laying on my stomach. I find it to be the most comfortable.
  19. Hells to the yes I do. I display my brony pride with passion. I see no reason not to.
  20. Various flavors of Coke, Mountain Dew and Pepsi usually. Dr. Pepper sometimes gets thrown into the mix when I'm feeling jaunty.
  21. I mean, it's not my cup of tea, but you do you, fam. If you jam out, keep jammin' out and don't let anyone stop. I'll continue listening to my metal.
  22. Today's entry in the game posting series is an unusual one - Kronolog. As the subtitle indicates, it's an alternate history where the Nazis have won WW2. Released in 1993, it's a graphic adventure in style of LucasArts and Sierra fare. Since it came towards the tail end of that genre's popularity without multimedia features, it lost some of its potential impact. As the title indicates, this is an alternative history where the Nazis stole plans for the Manhattan Project and bombed Boston where it caused the Allies to surrender entirely. Set in 2020, the p[lot follows the extreme problems introduced by the Nazi leadership. Rather than fighting for liberation, the player character is a man looking for his son who he lost. Even being slightly outdated and clunky, the story and atmosphere are still interesting with a unique take on the "Nazis win WW2" alternate history. While I find the game to be interesting despite its flaws, if you're not interested in this type of alternate history or not already a fan of late 80s and early 90s adventure games, I don't think I can fully recommend this one. It's quite niche and is not for everyone. That said, it is still quite intriguing.
  23. PS1/PSX. I have far more memories of playing games with my friends on the PS1 than any other Sony console. I haven't even touched the PS3, PS4 or handhelds. Haven't seen a reason to get any of them. I just emulate the PSP for anything on it I want to play.
  24. I use DDG and I quite like it. Does not store anything so it's a bit less privacy invading that Google is. It's not perfect and lacks many features but if there's something you don't want to get ads for (weird porn for example), use DDG.
