  1. Alone for the moment. Working on it though!
  2. Kirin Strong White Sour! 9% alcohol for around $1.50!
  3. Slepping. It's like sleeping, you're just more "meh" about it. Just finally woke up.
  4. 元気ですけど今日はとても暑いよ!今、アイスクリームを食べています。 I actually don't watch anime much surprisingly. I do read manga every now and then to help with reading. I usually watch TV dramas here for Japanese practice and to "research" for work. Lol I see Super Sentai all the time here on TV and I do watch it every now and then.
  5. Outlast 2 on PS4. Pretty freaky game but I love anything scary!
  6. Opinions: Japan Edition! Honestly, Japanese dubbed anime is as hit-or-miss as English dubbing. A lot of the “emotional acting” and “Kawaii acting” that people claim is better in Japanese dubs is actually overreacting to the point where that’s not even how Japanese people sound at all. The Japanese entertainment industry is crazy about over acting in everything. I’m even told to lighten my voice, smile excessively, and be more “genki” for auditions despite the role not having that many lines of dialogue or no lines at all. Kind of embarrassing actually. Akihabara and Shibuya are the most overrated districts in Tokyo. If you want better video game or anime deals, go to Ikebukuro instead. Also, Shibuya izakayas are quite expensive so I wouldn’t recommend. Come to Asakusa! Japan is not as technologically advanced as people think. More people here know how to use a fax machine than a PC for example. Also, banks are almost 80’s in the way they handle things since Japan is primarily a cash-based society. Japanese medical care might not be the best in the world but at least you can afford to get treated if you need it. My health insurance is literally only less than ¥2,000 a month for 70% coverage on almost everything, including dental care! Take that, ‘Murcia! Japanese government bureaucracy absolutely sucks! Takes forever to do anything and everything! If you ever come to Japan, visit Tokyo and Osaka for a couple days at MOST. Visit the countryside!
  7. Got a TV drama shoot on Thursday in Shibuya! Woot! Time for celebratory alcohol! :D

  8. Lol I didn't start acting and modeling until a couple months before I moved to Japan. I Japan I didn't get my first job for 3 months and that was a for a hotel commercial shoot. Now I'm kinda busy. Japan is certainly interesting, can get boring after a while. I really enjoy going to the countryside when I can however. Never been a fan of living in the city. I'm here to learn the language and it certainly helps when your here and it makes you look good to Japanese people.
  9. I wouldn't say that the Japanese aren't "fond" of foreigners from my experience, but it's more like they don't know how to deal with being around foreigners. There's not many of us here and, especially us Americans, tend to be more socially obnoxious and loud than most Japanese. Can't say anything in regards to a white collar work environment because I work as an actor and some modeling where half of the reason I get hired is for having a foreign face. Lol Racism is a thing in Japan, but it's the same in every country on this planet. According to black friends of mine here, however, they feel better treated here in Japan than back in America. I would say that being a minority in Japan is certainly weird and sometimes annoying, but from what I've seen and heard from living in the US, it's better to be a minority in Japan where we don't have to fear of being harassed or assaulted for being of a different race. Also, those infamous ultranationalists that drive around in those black vans spouting Imperial propaganda and anti-foreigner crap? Most Japanese dislike them. Praise the Pink One! I've thought about it honestly. Friend of mine in my sharehouse is a Youtuber who does that and says you just get used to it. Problem is you can't record in plenty of stores here in Tokyo.
  10. Lol well I'm from Washington State. I just live in Japan right now so pretty easily.
  11. ラーメンが好です。とてもおいしです。 Basically yes I like ramen. Honestly, a little tired of it though. Lol
  12. I rarely ever see anything pony here which is weird because of its "かわいい" aesthetic. There's a few bronies here in Tokyo and then there's Japan Ponycon which is pretty cool. I live in Sumida-ku across the bridge from Asakusa. I live down the street from Tokyo Skytree.
  13. The most traditional Japanese breakfast: toasted rolls with butter inside, Boss Coffee, instant wonton ramen, and ice cream because I'm an adult. All from Lawson 100!
  14. Princess Cadance! Praise the Pink One! And yes that's me. I have longer hair nowadays which I'm not too much of a fan of. Lol You have no idea. I live down the street from Skytree here in Sumida-ku and I see it promoting it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Also I keep seeing billboards, commercials, announcements, etc. promoting it. The Japanese are crazy about the upcoming Olympics. Kinda annoying really.
  15. Lol sorry I forgot to reply to your message earlier. Busy day. It’s pretty cool but very different from visiting short term. Dealing with immigration can be annoying and being one of the only foreigners in a sea of Japanese people can be a little unnerving but I like it here. Health insurance is cheap, healthy food is plentiful, good nightlife (if in Tokyo or Osaka), transportation is always on time, etc.
  16. Never had it so yum/yuck. Natto?
  17. Banned for exacting vengeance on my enemies without my permission

Lol コーヒー means "coffee", を is the subject particle, and 飲みたい means “want to drink”. Directly translated would be “coffee I want to drink”. Lol
