  1. Welcome to MLP Forums whoovesfan7698. :pinkie:

  2. Sounds like something a friend of mine would do. He's on my list of people to show this song to, as well as my next volunteer for this experiment. He just doesn't know it yet...
  3. We may never know what happened...but speculating his reaction was probably something of revolt and rejection at the origin. I'd really like to hear the rest, though.
  4. ...then what? I'm guessing based on personal experience that he said something like "oh, I thought it was good" or some dense comment like that.
  5. I was a bit worried about this possibly backfiring on me, that's why I extended on my plan. First off, understand that my dad's "finest" argument against Bronies was "if your friends aren't doing it." Ignorance aside, if that's what he's going to use against me, then I'm going to use it against him. In other words, I'll convert some friends of mine by starting with the music, then moving on to a few episodes, then finally revealing it to my parents, who, of course, I'll be showing more Brony music anonymously. That's my plan. My mom does play the piano, but not very well. So, no, she couldnt play it. I'll definitely show her more Brony music (anonymously of course). Also, what do you mean "awful truth"? This is the awesome truth!
  6. Okay, first off, long story short my parents wanted me gone from the fandom the minute they found out I was in it. They also probably think I'm already out of it due to the lack of conversation between us about it. Well, if you haven't guessed already, I'm not out of the fandom. Far from it. While I've been working on converting friends of mine (albeit unsuccessfully), I've come across a lot of great fandom music. One such piece was "First Flight" by PonyEveningStar: After finding out that this piece has sheet music, I had my mom listen to the song, which she loved and had me print off the sheet music. Here's the thing, though: she doesn't know it's from the Brony fandom. So while she was busy telling me how awesome it is (and rightfully so), I'm just standing there with a smile on my face. She asked for the artist, but I said I'd found it anonymously, and that it's location couldn't be traced. She said it was a "great mystery". I also said it wasn't titled, so it has no possible way to be found. She loves it nonetheless, and I intend to show it to others, revealing it's origin after their reactions. This could be the beginning of something great. So that's my story for the day. Thoughts?
  7. @ Well, my parents got on me for it. My parents knew a while back, but after receiving a lot of crap from them, I just let the topic die off. I resorted to being a closet Brony around them. My friends know too, but most of them think I've got mental problems because of it (I have one friend who was a Pegasister, but she went through something similar with her parents, so she left the fandom). I don't think they know that I'm still a Brony, and honestly, that's how I'm going to keep it.
  8. I've often heard the show compared to Disney in terms of quality writing/animation/etc. I've been wondering, though, which episode brushes up the most with Disney's quality? I'm not talking in terms of style keep in mind, I'm talking quality: which episode/episodes has/have the best the show has to offer currently?
  9. I actually like being a human, personally. While I do think a lot of people are evil, I've seen some good ones that continue to give me faith in humanity.
  10. Okay, let me set up the scene for you. You're at home, it's getting late, you're about to head to bed. As you're getting reedy for the night, there's a knock at your front door. You answer it, but find no one there...at first. Standing there at your feet is your OC, but it's been transformed into a filly/foal (if it wasn't already one). Your reaction? For me, I'd probably take a moment to catch my breath and actually realize my OC is in front of me, then I'd welcome her into my home and talk with her for a while.
  11. I have an account there (same name as here), but no stories up...yet. I'm working on a few currently, with one to be proofread a little later. Then a series is planned.
  12. Of course I'd wish they were real, who wouldn't? If I could, I'd spend time just hanging out with the Mane Six, probably Twilight the most because she'd open up the most to me (at least, in my mind she would). Applejack would be awesome to chat with too, but Fluttershy would take the cake by far. I mean, she's freaking adorable and I share a lot in common with her (I'm also an introvert, love animals, etc.), but I know she'd probably be the least likely to converse with me, so it's a bit of a hopeless wish. That said, as others have mentioned here, it would present a problem if they hung out here, so going there would be the safest for them. That said, though, if any of them came here and while we were together someone threatened us...(pulls out shotgun) they'd be sorry they messed with any of the ponies. If they did come here, though, I'd be happy to show them the local attractions (from a safe distance, of course), and do really whatever they wanted to.
  13. Here's my OC Melon Drop: The project sounds really cool overall, and I can't wait to see what it looks like when everyone's OC is in there!
  14. Made: In my DE Trig. class, the entire assignment today was for extra credit only. Ruined: While in English class, after making a humorous response to why I had a lot of pencils for an essay, my non-Brony friend (whom I hope to convert) gave me a fist bump. Upon me asking him why he'd brohoofed me, he responded, "I did not 'brohoof' you, I just thought that was awesome." It just kind of takes away hope of him ever becoming a Brony. And since he's the one my parents seem to praise constantly, it's kind of important that he does so that I can remain one.
  15. I'm not saying my dad is always honest, but the day after I'd admitted to being a Brony, he came up to me and said, "So I saw an episode of that My Little Pony. I gotta tell you (my name), it's weird that you like that." Besides, by now he thinks I'm out of the fandom, and until I can get some of my friends in on it, it's best kept a secret from them. All it does is give them something else to lecture me on as well as a reason to think less of me. It's not like they aren't hypocrites in any other ways, either...
