      Fun fact, birds don't like being pet.

      One of my ducks "Meg", likes to crawl into my jacket to sleep. That is the closest to petting. The best way to get birds (any birds, not just ducks) to be close is to give them a lot of space and respect to decide if they want to be close or not. Then they slowly learn to be really close, as it looks like you are petting them. But it takes time. I have had my ducks for over 6 years now.

      If that's the case I would certainly respect duck's personal space :squee: Still, I just love ducks so much, I am jealous even if I know it probably is also a lot of responsibility :blush:
