    "Duck Tales" cannot be used as a title in Swedish, since there is no good short translation to "Tales". Instead, we had long and obnoxious titles like this:

    But the worst case was "My Little Pony Tales", which was changed to "Min Lilla Pony Häst". Now, translate that back to English and you will get "My Little Pony Horse" :awwthanks:

      Here it used to be "Ankronikka", which I think is actually quite clever – it's a portmanteau of the words for duck (ankka) and chronicle (kronikka). :D Now they don't even bother to translate it.

      At least that's better than what FIM is called in Finland – "My Little Pony: Ystävyyden taikaa" ("Magic of Friendship"). The half-English, half-Finnish title sounds really clumsy to me. :derp:
