      Because the forum allows copying of text from one post into another, and a post can have text color, different fonts, and images embedded, the format copied is called RichText, and can be pasted into Microsoft Word to be modified without limits that the forum applies.

      Tags have hidden characters that aren't drawn as text, which links to a certain user id, but the text for the user name can be adjusted without changing the id. It is just a little bit tricky to edit. Took a while to get it right :wacko:

      A weird thing that’s been happening for a couple of weeks is that the list of newly created topics on the homepage is sometimes there and sometimes not. I don’t know why that is. :huh:

    After 5 minutes of trying to find Emerald Heart's profile, now when I don't have a friends list to take me there, and not having any function in the new friends system to find her... I decided to try to find one of her posts, but she doesn't post often.

     

    But there is one way. I can tag her right here, and get the link from there. Cool (and very wasteful): @Emerald Heart

    I have tested some of the more "unfriendly" features of this forum:

    There are quite a few notifications that spell out if you have been unfriended with somepony on the forum (both spitted out in your face, and in the notification list). This is different from unfollowing where it simply doesn't say. A lot of people could be hurt by that unfriend button. I am expecting problems in the future.

    The test subject above was helping me to test, and I also apologized for the action (even if we both knew it was a test), because it is.... Well, very unfriendly and unpleasant.

     

     

    I have also tested the ignore user features, and they are not anything I will be using in the future. I have never used, and hope to never use.

      Yeah I don’t like that.   I do not like confrontation and now that’s make me paranoid about someone confronting me if I unfriended someone.  (Not that I see doing that to anyone)

      You also need to start "abusing" the new character system in the RP. I need to see a living breathing Pencil and Granite on this forum! :love::love::love::love::love: (Like, they become real when you use them, see @Windy Breeze's character! OMG)

      Pencil’s already in some RPs (and Granite used to be in one but it died) but if someone went to the Ask Pencil, Granite, and maybe Thorns thing, then I could use the new formatting in there.

    And yes, it would get you in trouble. But it was a cool idea :orly:

      We lost a ton of workers so are working ridiculously short staffed. It’s not been good here. Not a big raise but it was good to get one!
