A little late, as the day were long and merry, but I hope that everyone had/will have, an amazing, joyful Christmas. Or whatever else you might celebrate. After a year like this, we could all use some more smiles.

Take care of yourselves, and those you love, in this time of merriment. And remember that even if you may be far apart this year, there's always someone out there that cherishes and loves you.

Thousands of young people, students who were my age and even younger, were tasked with going into the jungle and countryside to teach every single farmer that was out there who didn't know how to read and write. 

One of the best things the cuban revolution has ever done is this. Happy teacher's day, they do nothing less than showing us the path in this life.
