Does anyone use yayponies for episode downloads?
I have the Scootaloo Remastered x264 versions, but are they preferred over the iTunes US RAW downloads?

RMS values don't tell you everything. More specifically, they do not tell you anything about phase.
At 1kHz, the impedance of a 6280Ohm resistor, a 1H inductor and a 25.3nF capacitor is about the same and if you calcuated the RMS current you would get the same value.
But it's not the same, right? The phase angles are different.
Also, connecting two different type components (say, a resistor and a capacitor) in series or parallel, you have to use complex numbers for calculating the current as using just the RMS values would give you a wrong answer.

Nvidia did a great job releasing their new RTX 3080 today lmao. Guess I'll just blow my money on a used GTX 1080 Ti to replace my GTX 1070 and possibly even a better monitor. Such a huge corporation lets massive amounts of bots to ruin our experience!

My first gaming video card was a 3dfx Voodoo 2, but yeah, I regret selling it too. Some old games work better with a 3dfx card (though, I guess, I could just buy one one ebay).
I have a few 970s (I got them relatively cheap for their hashrate at the time). The game I play on a 970 is Borderlands 3, it runs fairly well and the 9xx series are the last video cards to have a native analog output. The newer ones no longer have it and while I have a hih frequency DP->VGA adapter it looks like the adapter requires EDID (information about supported resolutions etc) from the monitor to work, so now I have to build some kind of EDID-injector. However, since I recently resumes mining on my 1070s and RX580s there is no rush

I use a 970 that I used for mining (and is not really useful for mining anymore), my other PC has a 780 - still good enough for Metro Exodus.
I would have used one of the 1070s I have instead of the 970, but I have to get the DP->VGA adapter working since those cards do not have native analog outputs.
I can wait some months, I am in no rush to buy something to pay too much for it. I won't die if I don't get a new video card right now, even if there was a game I wanted to play and it did not run on the cards that I have.

So I've heard many, many, many, many good things about a game called "Factorio" and decided to buy it and give a try. It didn't really look appealing at first glance, as generally I'm not into city builders and stuff like this much (maybe unless it has multiplayer, as genre doesn't matter much if I'm
destroyingplaying something with my brother
). I've been told there's this, there's that, you can do this, you can do that, it's not just about building random stuff.
... And sweet Celestia, it indeed is insanely addicting!
Also building all these logistic systems and whatsoever makes me feel like I was programming games.
Thinking ahead and stuff, fixing "bugs" if machines decide to stop for some reason - yeah.. Definitely feels familiar.

Quick question for fellow folks in lockdown, how are you spending your days? What are you doing to keep yourselves occupied?
Genuinely curious, 'cause I've spent the majority of lockdown re-decorating, doing general DIY and just fixing things the whole time. But eventually, you just run out of stuff to fix, y'know?
Been considering getting back into drawing, haven't done it god-knows how long, should really finish up on the design for my next tattoo as well.
But yeah, hope you're all having a good one lads.

I'm working from home, so, yeah, I did not get the "free vacation" everyone seems to be complaining about (where is the emoticon for "envy"?).
However, I am known to sometimes take a vacation just to spend it at home, so yeah. I do what I normally do during this quarantine, but do not go to restaurants (instead I order in) or most shops (instead I shop online for what I need and other stuff can wait).

To follow up my last status, the only way I will vote for president in the general is the following.
- If Biden’s on the ticket, having someone like Nina Turner or Bernie (not gonna happen) as VP. Biden’s already committed to a woman VP, so Bernie’s out. Hell, despite having the worst political campaign instincts I’ve ever seen in a Democratic presidential campaign, Warren would be a fine option!
- At the convention, Biden loses in favor of someone else, like Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo handled the Covid crisis atrociously. Locked down the state too late, is in total bed with his corporate and Wall Street donors, campaigned against bail reform to keep more people in jail (places where the infection rate is horrific). But at least he doesn’t have a devastating sexual assault allegation against him!

While I am not a big fan of Biden (as he seems to be more corrupt than Trump), I do not tink that an "allegation" is worth much. A conviction would. But someone saying
I also view the accusations about something that was allegedly done decades ago very suspiciously, because it looks to me that the person making such accusations was specifically waiting for a time when they could do the most damage with the least proof (or maybe engage in some blackmail). Especially since punishment for false accusations is pretty much non-existent.
I look for a candidate who seems to be the least corrupt - even if I dislike the promises. Because a corrupt politician would make a lot of promises, but wouldn't keep them anyway and steal from the country instead. Trump looks to be less corrupt, at least because of the way mainstream media hates him. Similar thing is in my country too.
