Should I just pretend to be happy all the time? Is that a good thing? Fake it till you make it? Will I ever make it in anything?

I find pretending to be happy can be mentally exhausting, and even physically so if you do it long enough. If you accept your feelings, ask why you feel that way, and work toward overcoming them, you'll feel better in the end. Focusing on the positives can help with this. I'm not saying to ignore the bad things, just don't fixate on them.
