    Why do people put "~" at the end of sentences? I know it means "about" but about doesn't really fit when used this way.

      Really? I had no idea that symbol actually meant something. :wacko:
      To me, it's just a slightly more playful/sassy version of "..."
      If I say "To be continued...", it comes of as ominous. But if I say "To be continued~" it comes off as playful, as if something good might happen later.
