    I think there are probably vocational courses for dressmaking and partu planning, and if not a general business course will help. Assuming Pinkie doesn't do something random and become a cop or TV presenter or something. And I would probably reverse the first two outcomes - SciTwilight seems very aimed at research, while Sunset entering the field of education would be fitting IMO. It could even bring her full circle, to inherit from this world's Celestia rather the other as she had once planned... Well, ,unless her origin comes out, in which case things might be more complicated.

    Problem in FIM's finale is that no-one went anywhere except Twilightt/Spike, and that wasn't far. While the Equestria Girls could end up all over depending on their college applications.

    Given the number of drivers around the world and the depths of the human capacity for stupiditu, I wouldn't bet on it.. And I never really worte letters, but I didn't do texts till a few uears back either

    I reallu don't see how having the Headmare and Vice-Head of the School of Freindship produce a ponu totallu ignorant of it gives value... no wait, I can, if that was the begginnig of a storu. not so much at the end.

    We don't know how long she's been Twilight's student (and not even a personal one, I don't think).She's presumaablu been her parent's daughther all her life.

    I think this is defintlu the kind of broad impression that would need a lot of time to check. Perhaps mi own perception of her lags because I already know what she's like.

    Indeed. But the bolded part mostlu stopped happeing after Season 1, with Raritu in particualar losing most of her repetoire. I don't think she stopped studuing spells, especiallu wivh Starlight in her house. And I don't thinnk what she was teaching inn school was magic, reallu - just pure friendship.

    Well, the students were clearly meant to be successors of a sort. now the Map did call more varied ponies over time, but friendship is a thing of connectionns after all - so those connected to the Bearers are also part of itm and so on. . As for magical creativtu - I noticed that other unicorns stopped using magic beyond telekinises early on, but it seemed like the mages kept at it - perhpas that was more Starlight than Twilight, but it would take a proper check to tell.

    No, friendship was always changed into power via the Elements and the like. On its own, it's just a good way to live. And I didn't notice Twilightt's use of magic declining, but I suppose I might have missed it - still seemed like bovh she and Starlight used it a lot.

    Indeed, it seems to be a genuine disagreement between different parts of the production.

    not that weird, just kind of big-scale and missionary. It would have been nice if alongside the increased diversitu, we had seen some tech advancement in the future Equestria which could be attributed to a scientist princess.

    Or the opposite - breaking free from the expected path and discovering uour true passion. A pitu Twilight got something more like the opposite (although I don't think she'll ever stop being a nerd).

    Folk often go into uni with one major and walk out on another path, but I don't know how many of them were following their heart both before and after, it's true.

    Well iv isn't unknown for someone that age to end up in a different field than they had planned, but besides the shift to a more social role there was also the meddling from above.

    Indeed, like was the moral in Scare Master. It was kind of a normalisation storu from the beginning, (friends are good for everyone!), but the nature did change over time in perhpas preventable ways.

    I do think that she could well have grown into a suitable ruler over time - she's certainlu a gifted organinser and coordinator. But as it was, it was just her being forced into a mold. Some of the shifts were almost unavoidable once the show shifted from being about experincing friendship to promoting it, but there were ways in which we could still have seen more of Twilight's scientifc side in later seasons. It just so happened that such ideas didn't occur to the writers, like mani ovher ones.

    I'd say that as Princess of Friendship, Twilight's job was to do with building bonds between individuals and societies. So quite feminine, I suppose, and not the most obvios for her own talents - but she might be betver at it for not being a natural, because it means she has to rely on her friends instead of truing to do it all herself. It is a pitu this pushed her more scientific side into a hobby, though.

    Given the settigs, Equestria Girls might be better for promoting technical careers. Twilight was a scholar and a scientist, but I don't really see her as the engineering tipe. Perhaps an archetupe to bear in mind for G5...

    If the problem is that they won't grow up as long as people are watching them, well no-ones watching anymore. So there's nothing to stop thme graduating.

    Broccoli is literallu the only vegetable I eat. now more on topic... What would uou think of her remaining in her role as of Season 8?

    If the loop is sustaned bi the camera, then it should break now. An interesting possibility. Of course, iv could go the other way too... but that's more for the finale thread I made.
