    Am happy someone finally recognized the Dr. Pepper deal with gnr was stupid and garbage. But eff you tvtropes for reminding me of it in the first place. The sheer disappointment of it made me never want Dr. Pepper again. I got my can turned on the album and half way into the titled track I was immediately disappointed. And cursed Dr. Pepper

      Ah, now I see. As a marketing major, I can tell you, not the first time companies have made promotional promises they never actually intended to keep. Guess what? Never works out. Making promotional offers like that is always illegal. Dr. Pepper is a big company; so they can recover from any legal loss. But smaller companies and businesses have been ruined because of it. Apparently, "it was just a prank, bro" is not a valid legal defense. :derp:
