I'm actually looking up some of the cards as I haven't played Stride era in quite a long time. As soon as standard was released, I kind of called it quits. Due to there being so many rules and things such as gifts and stride all in one game. That, and I felt that some clans were going to be more powerful than others as I always loved playing Pale Moon back in Stride.  

Although, I might have to look. I would have said if you were thinking of Dragwizard, then maybe the Dragfall Luard would work. Since you could have a couple of Grade 1's to activate some skills from Phantom Blaster Diablo. Then the ability to stride would decrease in getting certain requirements.

Oh okay. I know when it comes to building a deck of cards. The main idea is what the theme of the cards are all about and the end goal. 

For your Shadow Paladin deck, what do you wish to accomplish and what is the end goal that you are trying to achieve. Sort of like how they say to 'imagine it' in the anime. 

I know there are other ways for the deck to sort of evolve. Some ideas like other G series cards and even the V series. I remember there are other ways to use like the V series Blaster Dark and even Mordred Phantom are options.
