@Tacodidra Yeah, the grammar is fine. Learning the words was a whole other matter. For a few years in school, I had to learn German, French and Latin and those were honestly the worst years of my life . I was soooo bad at them so I dropped both Latin and French as soon as I could.  I got A* in most my subjects apart from German in which I got a D . I’m so happy now that I only have to do English, even though I’m pretty bad at that anyway.

Latin? That sounds pretty interesting!

I learned English, Swedish and German at school (the first two were compulsory subjects, German was optional) and then Russian at high school (or rather the local equivalent of that). I'm pretty rusty at all of them except English now – though I'm planning to go through my Russian books again at some point (mostly because it's my least used language).

Latin wasn’t that bad since it was quite interesting, but my terrible memory meant that I was just terrible at learning vocabulary, so I dropped the subject after 3 years.

I don’t think I’ll ever learn another language but I’m fine with that. If there’s something that mlp has taught me, it’s that everyone has their own special talents. Languages, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to be one of mine, but that’s how life works
