why am i thinking that at one point that Celestia said this ''to be able to make friends you have to earn it sunset'' .....maybe its just me lol.

lol but really though maybe in gen 5 they should mention that even when you want to be friends with someone you cant just say hey want to be friends ? they should make a lesson on how to get to know someone instead of making a friend so quick just by asking. unless they already done that and i need to re watch the show XD
