The best age of WWF/E to me is 1997-2007. 97 was when I started watching: Sid was champion and Austin vs. Hart was happening so that was before WM13. WWE died for me with Benoit. That was the era killer imo. Nothing felt right since that June. I was already wounded from Eddie Guerrero dying was rough enough, and then Benoit... sigh. What happened being so surreal, suddenly a big part of wrestling just wasnt there or talked about anymore, and the shows started dumping more and more into the restrictive PG format. Cenamania was stale to me around this time too. If I ever do a Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression marathon I'll stop at Wrestlemania 23. WWECW was already dead to me by 07 for sure though

A chance encounter with her grandpa to be would lead to her adoption. She seemed kinda unwilling to let go, nearly falling forward as Jelly released her before cartoonishly springing back into place. "Oohh, okay! Sounds good! Your pops must be like, omega cool! If you're gonna wanna meet grandpa afterwards, weeelll... He's kinda different, so don't get scared if it seems like he's yelling at you, it's just how he talks. Oh, and don't drink any of his juice! It's weird stuff. Don't ask him about his job or his music records either, he'll go on for HOURS! he kinda says some funny words too but don't mind that." ...Pastels grandpa sounded interesting to say the least. It makes sense, it would take a quite the odd pony to take in a misfit like her. The filly seemed to bounce around from one subject to the other, until it was time for class again. Her grades were gonna be low again; but that was okay to her. She was saving her study energy for "more important things"... so she tells herself anyway

Bully 2 and Sonic Chronicles 2. Bully 2 was teased for years, got some development and then got cancelled out of nowhere. The death of the Chronicles series was due to everyone's favorite publisher EA buying Bioware and axing projects they didn't like.

Upon being asked about her parents, the cocky expression of Pastel briefly turned to one that was taken off guard. She shook this up before sitting back up and facing Jelly again, putting her smile back on. "Umm... I don't have parents. Well, maybe I do, but I don't remember them. I was an orphan for a long time before grandpa took me in. He's okay with be being out as long as I'm not getting in trouble. If you're going home after this, I could run home and tell gramps I made a friend and meet you in front of the school! Or we can go together!" Despite the bombshell reveal, Pastel seemed happy as she smiled at Jelly, ready to bounce out of her seat any second on the word "go". The thought of having parents was foreign to Pastel, who had none, for all intents and purposes. To her, all she needed was her grandpa to look after her, though she always wanted friends who weren't superficial; and now it seems she did!

Most of the time it's super cheesy and cliche when I see it but I like a horror twist when it's well written :3 My favorite story of this sort are Lovecraftian crossovers because it's fun to see how characters from series x react to the bleakness of the setting. Who adapts, who loses it, etc. There was a MLP cosmic horror I read years ago; I think it was called The Stars Will Aid In Their Escape? It's a trip if you're into that kinda thing
